Last year
This year
No doubt you recall the Christmas crib that was vandalised last year in the centre of Châteaulin (Finistère), a crib installed by the technical services department of the town council. The statues were decapitated. And now no more crib this year. Farewell, Holy Family! In its place only a snowman next to an illuminated tree. It's pretty ... but it has less class and less meaning than a crib.

Matthew 5:13
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

It doesn't feel good to be trodden under foot does it? Men of France, arise, re-embrace the faith of your forefathers. You can become "salty" again, and send the mohammedan moon worshipers packing.

Everything was leading to a replacement… This crib (so ugly that it seems malicious) was functional, ready to be pack away, already vandalised, and obviously, topped by "Bonnes fêtes" and not by "Joyeux Noël/Happy Christmas".
The snowman wasn’t far.

Brittany was (with the Vendée) the most Christian region of the country. It has now become the worst bastion of socialism.
