Colonised Areas of Britain are the Least Happy

Two recent studies have confirmed that people living in the parts of Britain that have been most heavily colonised by aliens are the last happy, and vice versa.

Last week, a study commissioned by the property website Rightmove found that Carlisle was the happiest place in England. Carlisle has experienced very little African or Asian colonisation.

Chris Brand (a former psychology lecturer at Edinburgh University who was sacked for saying negroes were less intelligent than other races) commented on the study on his blog, the G Factor.

A study by the property website Rightmove found that people in Carlisle, Cumbria [aka Cumberland], were the happiest in England, while those living in east London were the least content with their surroundings (D. Telegraph, 14 ii, Murray Wardrop). Researchers assessed towns on how residents felt about their area, the size and condition of homes, neighbourliness and safety levels.

Carlisle scored highest, followed by other largely-White places like York, Huddersfield, Harrogate, Chester and Llandudno. The only southern towns in the Top Ten were the White locations of Norwich, Dorchester and Exeter. By contrast, nine of the ten lowest scoring towns and cities were in the south, according to the survey. All the east London districts (largely Black-infested) were classed with the lowest scores, followed by Ilford, south-east London, Luton and Romford. Pakistani-invaded Oldham was the only northern town in the bottom ten of the website's Happy At Home Index.

Today, a government-conducted study revealed essentially the same results. The two unhappiest parts of the country are East London and the West Midlands, both areas that have been mass-colonised by Muslims. By contrast, the happiest is Northern Ireland, which is probably the part of the United Kingdom that has been least colonised by non-Europeans.

In a survey of 80,000 people’s happiness, the first of its kind, the ONS found that men aged between 45 and 49 are the least satisfied with life in the UK.

Conversely, men and women aged between 65 and 80 are the most satisfied. This is followed closely by teenagers aged between 16 and 19.

London or the West Midlands are the gloomiest regions. People who live here are the least happy with their lives and also value the worth of what they do with their lives less than people in other regions. The findings come despite London being the wealthiest part of the country by some distance.

The happiest place in the UK, and also the one with the highest levels of life satisfaction and feelings of worth, is Northern Ireland, the ONS found.

Interestingly, the colonists themselves are not happy either.

The highest levels of life satisfaction in the UK were found among white, Indian and other Asian groups. The lowest level was found among black, African, Caribbean or black British groups.

Members of the Bangladeshi and Pakistani communities were found to have the highest levels of anxiety.

This is not surprising. These people have been cut off from their historical roots and bereft of their own peoplehood. They are now just a bunch of nationless savages reduced to eternal whining about how Whitey doesn't give them enough respect or money.

These are selfish people. Their emigration to Britain was motivated primarily by greed. Their countries were poor but they were their own. They could have remained and worked hard to turn their countries into desirable places to live. In the 1950s, Taiwan and South Korea were poorer than many countries in sub-Saharan Africa. But the people there worked hard and now have standards of living comparable with the West. Those who came to Britain as colonists could have made the same choice; but they opted for the easy route to riches instead, abandoning their own peoplehood and making themselves an eternal infringement on ours. Or perhaps not so eternal.

BC director-general Mark Thompson has claimed Christianity is treated with far less sensitivity than other religions because it is ‘pretty broad shouldered’.

He suggested other faiths have a ‘very close identity with ethnic minorities’, and were therefore covered in a far more careful way by broadcasters.

But he also revealed that producers had to consider the possibilities of ‘violent threats’ instead of polite complaints if they pushed ahead with certain types of satire.

Mr Thompson said: ‘Without question, “I complain in the strongest possible terms”, is different from, “I complain in the strongest possible terms and I am loading my AK47 as I write”. This definitely raises the stakes.’

But he added that religion as a whole should never receive the same ‘protection and sensitivity’ in the law as race.

Man Not Allowed to Board Plane Until He Apologises to Muslim

This story really shows how far gone we are. Note the Muslim guard wasn't even present when he made his remark but the man was forcibly detained until he apologised to the Muslim!

As David Jones arrived at the security gates at Gatwick airport, he was looking forward to getting through swiftly so he could enjoy lunch with his daughters before their flight.

Placing his belongings, including a scarf, into a tray to pass through the X-ray scanner he spotted a Muslim woman in hijab pass through the area without showing her face.

In a light-hearted aside to a security official who had been assisting him, he said: “If I was wearing this scarf over my face, I wonder what would happen.”

The quip proved to be a mistake. After passing through the gates, he was confronted by staff and accused of racism.

As his daughters, who had passed through security, waited in the departure lounge wondering where he was, he was subjected to a one hour stand-off as officials tried to force him to apologise.

Mr Jones, 67, who is the creator of the popular children’s character Fireman Sam, said: “Something like George Orwell’s 1984 now seems to have arrived in Gatwick airport.

"I feel that my rights as an individual have been violated. What I underwent amounts to intimidation and detention. I was humiliated and degraded in full public view.

"I am a 67-year-old pensioner and have lived my life within the law. I do not have even one point on my driving licence.”

He said that when he made his initial remark the security guard had appeared to agree with him, saying: “I know what you mean, but we have our rules, and you aren’t allowed to say that.”

As he went through the metal detecting arch, his artificial hip set off the alarm, prompting a full search from a guard. It was after this, and as he prepared to rejoin his two grown-up daughters, that he was confronted by another guard who said he was being detained because he had made an offensive remark.

“I repeated to her what I had said and told her that I had said nothing racist,” he said. “She took my passport and boarding pass and I was then escorted back through the security zone into the outer area. Here the female security guard proceeded to question me further, inferring many things that I had not said.

“It was impossible to get her to listen to reason. We were then joined by a second female security guard who stated that she was Muslim and was deeply distressed by my comment.

“I again stated that I had not made a racist remark but purely an observation that we were in a maximum security situation being searched thoroughly whilst a woman with her face covered walked through. I made no reference to race or religion. I did not swear or raise my voice.”

According to Mr Jones, who was due to board a British Airways flight to Portugal, where he now lives and runs a restaurant on the Algarve, the British Airways duty manager was then called in and sided with the security staff.

He continued: “I had now been detained for some time and my daughters were worried, calling me on my phone asking what was happening. We were going around in circles. I maintained that I had said nothing offensive and the security guard was continuing to accuse me. This had taken about 15-20 minutes and looked as though it was not going to be resolved.

“I asked the security guard if she was going to charge me to which she said no but I could not leave until I had apologised to the Muslim guard.

“At this point I asked for the attendance of a police officer. After some time he arrived but it was also plainly evident that he was keeping to the politically correct code. I told him that if there was a case then he should arrest me.

“I was told that we now live in a different time and some things are not to be said. They decided again that I would only be allowed to continue on my journey if I were to apologise to the Muslim guard. My reply was that as I had not made a racist remark it would be impossible for me to apologise.”

Mr Jones, a former member of the Household Cavalry and retired fireman, added: “I felt that I made a logical observation. That while everyone was being subjected to an invasive search it was illogical that someone should be let through with their face covered. I am not opposed to having this level of security but it must be equal for all.”

Eventually, Mr Jones said, the BA manager suggested that he should agree that what he had said “could” be considered offensive by a Muslim guard.

With his flight departure time now fast approaching Mr Jones agreed to the compromise.

Escorted by the police officer, he was taken through security where he was again subjected to a full search after his hip replacement set off the metal detector alarms.

Mr Jones said he intended to complain formally to the Gatwick airport authorities and British Airways about the incident last Sunday.

Department for Transport rules do not prevent people covering their faces at UK airports for religious reasons.

However, all passengers must show their faces to UK Borders officials when they pass through passport control. Muslim women who wear hijabs can request that their identity is checked by a female immigration officer and they can also ask that they be taken to a private room before they remove their head wear.

A spokesman for Gatwick airport said: “The security team are examining the incident to ensure that the issue was managed in the right way.

"They are talking to the people involved to understand what the issue was and how it came to have the police involved.”

Note the way he keeps defending himself by saying he "hadn't made a racist remark", as if this treatment would be justified if he had made a racist remark. This shows how even people who have some courage and some awareness of how damaging state-sanctioned thought control is have nonetheless absorbed and internalised many of its key tenets. Even if he had made a racist remark, who cares? People are allowed to be racists and allowed to make racist remarks. Neither racism nor racist remarks, in and of themselves, are crimes (yet), although many people, including the police themselves, contrive to give the opposite impression.

It would be interesting to know how many of the people involved in this drama were of third-world origin.

Yesterday the beleaguered but heroic Scottish Defence League held a demo in Glasgow, massively outnumbered by "anti-fascist" counter-protesters and the police.

The unelected (appointed through the regional list system) MSP Humza Yousaf (SNP), an associate of Hamas terror commander Mohammed Sawalha, had organised a petition demanding that the original request to carry out a march be denied. All of Scotland's party political leaders signed the petition. Not one Scottish newspaper has ever reported on Humza Yousaf's Hamas connections. This is an organisation whose charter is riddled with the most virulent antisemitism, yet when Yousaf accuses the SDL of peddling "vile, toxic hate" he is still taken seriously. I sent information about Yousaf's Hamas ties to various journalists. Not one responded. I wrote a letter to the Herald about it. It wasn't printed. We are living in a Soviet-type environment in which truth doesn't matter. Evidence doesn't matter. Reason doesn't matter. Democracy doesn't matter. Nothing matters except conformity with the approved ideology of the state.

Bangladesh can Extradite British Citizens at Will

That information comes from an article in the Telegraph today.

At least when a decision has to be made on whether someone should be extradited to the US, their government has to demonstrate that there is “probable cause”. A large number of countries, including all EU states, and others such as Azerbaijan, Peru, Sierra Leone and Bangladesh, have no need to demonstrate any basis for extradition. All they have to do is assert that they want to extradite an individual. British judges are not allowed to examine the merits of the case.

Arabs Urged to Racially Discriminate Against Non-Arabs in Employment

An Arab Business Conference was held in Doha, Qatar this week. Although it was generally ignored in the western press, there were a few snippets of information about it here and there.

One interesting aspect of the conference was the call for racial discrimination against non-Arabs in employment.

The conference called on Arab governments to strengthen their economic cooperation, grant good conditions to businessmen and replace foreign employees with Arabs.

This is a demonstration recently held in Paris by something calling itself the "Association of Angry, Badly-Housed People". Although they already live in government-provided housing, apparently its standard doesn't meet their exacting quality requirements.

They are also upset that the housing association was keeping a file on tenants which included details of their nationality, criminal records and the substances they were addicted to. What's wrong with that? It makes sense to put all the Congolese mugger heroin junkies in one building. Makes it easier for them to share needles and exchange tips on good mugging spots, etc.

Massive Police Mobilisation to Protect Their Precious Muslims

What a striking contrast in the newspapers today. First we have a desperate British girl who goes to the police begging for help, telling them she is being systematically raped by Muslim gangs. They decide not to pursue their investigation and her ordeal goes on.

A girl aged 15 was used for sex by more than 20 men after police failed to act when the teenager told officers that she was being passed around members of the British Pakistani community, a court was told yesterday.

The schoolgirl, who was allegedly under the control of a child pimp, is said to have swapped sex for food, vodka and petty cash. The abuse happened across northwest England in houses, flats, cars and taxis.

When she resisted instructions to sleep with strangers, the teenager said she faced physical violence or threats that her mother would be “told everything”.

When the girl refused to sleep with one man immediately after having sex with his companion, she said she was grabbed by the throat, pushed against a wall and called a “white bitch”.

“I didn’t think I had a choice. After a while, it was like I didn’t care any more about anything. It was like it wasn’t me,” she said.

The girl is one of five teenagers from Rochdale, Greater Manchester, aged from 13 to 15, who
were allegedly groomed then subjected to a series of sex offences by numerous men over a two-year period.

In a filmed interview in August 2008, the girl gave a police officer a detailed account of sex offences allegedly committed against her by a 59-year-old man, who cannot be named. She said the man raped her and also forced her to have sex with other men.

A jury at Liverpool Crown Court has been told that detectives failed to act on her allegations. Between the police interview and the time she became pregnant five months later, the girl is said to have slept with a further 21 men.

So the British girl ignore a 15-year-old girl being gang raped by Muslims. But when it comes to really serious crime like, you know, staging a protest outside a Muslim-owned takeaway shop or maybe smashing a window, you can be sure the police and their political masters will mobilise every resource available.

Assistant Chief Constable Terry Sweeney, of Greater Manchester police, said officers were "aware of the tensions in the borough that have come about because of an ongoing court case in Liverpool".

He said there would be a significant police presence in coming weeks and urged the community to act responsibly "during this difficult time".

Police stressed that all the business premises connected to the Liverpool trial were under new ownership. The leader of Rochdale council, Colin Lambert, said the vast majority of people in the area were law-abiding.

Superintendent Chris Hankinson, who is based in Rochdale, described Thursday night's events as "unacceptable". Police were viewing CCTV images and hoped to make more arrests.

"I want to reassure the communities of both Heywood and Rochdale that an increased police presence will be out on the streets in coming days to prevent any repeat of last night's scenes," Hankinson said on Friday. He said the disorder would not break the long history of partnership and community cohesion.

The Koran is a major threat to the free society of Spain. A book which clearly offers a message of jihad, killing, hating, discrimination and vengeance for that reason cannot be compatible with the Spanish system in any sense. It is a book totally contrary to what the law and constitution of Spain say. And it is inciting hatred and violence in our country.

Rochdale takeaway attacked as youths clash with police

Police said they had managed to disperse the gangs that caused the disturbances
Gangs of youths have clashed with police after targeting takeaway businesses in Greater Manchester.

Police were sent to the Heywood area of Rochdale on Thursday evening after a takeaway was attacked and a number of vehicles damaged.

Businesses shut as youths gathered in the area. Eyewitnesses said about 200 youths were in Market Street.

A Greater Manchester Police officer was hurt in the clashes. Police said they had dispersed the group.

The disturbances coincide with the trial of 11 men from Rochdale accused of having sex with girls under the age of 16. They all deny the charges.

Assistant Chief Constable Terry Sweeney said police were aware of "tensions in the borough".

He said: "A group of youths have attacked a local business and clashed with police officers. We would urge parents in the area to call their children if they are not home yet.

Zeeshan Khokhar, 23, owner of Bits n Pizza, a takeaway on Market Street, said he had been verbally abused, but his shop was not damaged.

Mr Khokhar said "white friends" came to his shop to protect him as trouble began brewing in the afternoon.

He said: "It started about 4pm, kids banging on windows. They were shouting: 'Why are you still open?'

"The police came and told us to shut up shop. We are just doing business. It's not good, it hurts and we are very worried about what's going to happen."

After officers dispersed the group from Market Street some youths shouted "EDL" - English Defence League - as they left, according to the Press Association.

The EDL said on its official Twitter account that it had not been involved in the events in Heywood but praised the youths.

Police said they were monitoring social media sites.

A new Islamophobia hotline and website has been launched in Britain so the Muslims can collect statistics and use them to demand even further repression of free speech. The great and good were in attendance including the sickening Peter Oborne and Eric Pickles who, a few days, about was trumpeting the importance of affirming "British values".

Faith Matters today launched the TELL MAMA (Measuring Anti-Muslim Attacks) campaign which will provide support to those who have suffered anti-Muslim attacks in England as well as mapping, analysing and collecting data on areas where such attacks are prevailent. The launch was attended by Peter Oborne, a columnist from the Telegraph, the Rt Hon Simon Hughes MP and the Secretary of State for the Department for Communities and Local Government, the Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP. The TELL MAMA campaign was also mentioned in the Integration Strategy that was launched by the Department today.

Faith Matters conveys its thanks to the range of partners that attended the launch today and to the Community Security Trust which has been a trailblazer in monitoring hate crimes against Jewish communities in England. A repulsive article about the launch by Leon Poosavi (Muslim?) appears on the Huffington Post. It gives the impression of having been written for a bet about how many times the word 'Islamophobia' could be crammed into one article.

Over the past four years, my own research about Islamophobia has highlighted the need to recognise and challenge Islamophobia. This is evidenced in the growth of the far right across Europe over the last 10 years and more disturbingly, the increasing tendency for their Islamophobic rhetoric to be replicated in the mainstream. For example, a recent poll showed that 45% of Britons are not ashamed to admit that they think there are 'too many' Muslims in Britain. Numerous other studies also suggest similar widespread suspicion and dislike of Muslims.

Note he admits that virtually a majority of Britons are hostile to Islam, so these people are not just calling for the repression of views with which they disagree; they are calling for the repression of democracy itself.

He also repeats the charge that "Islamophobes" are ignorant of Islam.

While the reporting and monitoring of Islamophobic incidents is long overdue and can be a major leap forward, it must also be coupled with proactive efforts by people of all faiths to engage in dialogue to overcome the ignorance that unnecessarily pushes people apart.

The truth, of course, is exactly the opposite. Those who are most hostile to Islam tend to be those who are most knowledgeable about it. It is the big-hearted naifs, like the people in Faith Matters, who are ignorant of what they are embracing.

The good news is that Islam eventually cures the naivety of everyone it comes into contact with. For Europe, the question is whether it will cure it fast enough.

Alleged Rapist ‘said under-age sex was allowed in his country’

An alleged rapist and child pimp told a 15-year-old girl that he was doing nothing wrong by delivering her to numerous Pakistani men for sex because “in his country you’re allowed to have sex with girls from the age of 11”, a court was told yesterday.
The 59-year-old man, who cannot be named, is one of 11 men accused of a series of sexual offences over a two-year period against young teenagers from Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

Five vulnerable girls, aged from 13 to 15, are said to have been groomed with gifts of alcohol, food and money by men whose aim was to use them for sex before sharing them with their friends and relatives.

On the second day of the trial, a jury at Liverpool Crown Court watched filmed police interviews from 2008 in which the 15-year-old described seven occasions when the 59-year-old forced her to have sex with him or other men. She said that she was first raped on a bare mattress in a room above a kebab shop after the man gave her a litre of vodka to make her “more relaxed”.

He allegedly then told the teenager that having sex with him was “part of the deal”, saying: “I bought you vodka. You have to give me something.”

The court was told that after they heard the girl’s child abuse allegations in August 2008, “police officers who looked into the matter didn’t take the investigation further”.

Despite speaking to detectives, the girl continued to be subjected to regular sexual abuse by a widening group of men. Her exploitation is finally said to have ended when she became pregnant five months later.

In her 2008 interview, the slim teenager — her voice at times barely rising above a whisper — sat hunched forward, arms crossed protectively in front of her body as she gave a detailed account of her abuse.

She said that pressure had repeatedly been placed on her to have sex with the man, his friends and once, “for a treat”, with his nephew.

The crimes began one afternoon when she was very hungry and agreed to go to a kebab shop with another girl who said she knew “somewhere we could get food for free”. The teenager said they were taken into a back room of the shop and given vodka. The other girl went upstairs with the chef. The 59-year-old then asked her to go upstairs with him “just to talk”.

She said that she was scared and told “the old man” that she did not want to have sex with him but he took no notice, even though she was crying. She felt “dirty and disgusting”.
The court heard that he and other men subsequently had sex with her in cars, flats and houses. She was also taken to have sex with men in Oldham and Bradford. “He kept bringing people, making me have sex with them and then giving me money to keep my mouth shut,” the girl said.

She said that on one occasion, she told him that she was 15 and that he would “get done if I tell the police”.

“[He] was saying he won’t get done, because in his country he can have sex with girls from the age of 11.”

The 11 men, aged from 21 to 59, deny numerous offences including 12 rapes, aiding and abetting rape, sexual activity with a child, sexual assault and six counts of trafficking a child within the UK for sexual exploitation.

Each defendant — Mohammed Amin, 44, Mohammed Sajid, 35, Adil Khan, 42, Abdul Qayyam, 43, Abdul Aziz, 41, Abdul Rauf, 43, Qamar Shahzad, 29, Liaquat Shah, 41, Kabeer Hassan, 25, Hamid Safi, 21, and the 59-year-old who cannot be named — is charged with conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child.

Marseilles a Vision of Europe's Future, According to National Geographic

The city has served as a refuge for people fleeing persecution, pestilence, and poverty. Recently its sizable immigrant influx has been largely of Muslim origin, and today when you gaze from one of Marseille's many beaches across the Mediterranean toward the unseen North African coast, you can almost imagine a human deluge on its way as the spreading unrest in the Arab world pushes more refugees and job seekers toward the shores of Europe.

If you listen to far-right politicians, you'll think this immigrant wave means, inevitably, an onslaught of Islamic puritanism that will challenge European ways and force every woman to dress like a Taliban bride. But then you realize that many of the men and women jostling around you on the Marseille sand are from African and Arab backgrounds, and that the young women are wearing bikinis, not burkas. Thanks to a remarkably efficient public transport system, you can get to Marseille's beaches from any part of town in less than 45 minutes.

And so for several months of the year, rich and poor, white and black, African and Arab, Muslim, Christian, and Jew, all find their own space on the sand, strip off most of their clothes, and settle down to socialize—and be socialized— under the Provençal sun. Ask them where they're from and you won't hear Algeria or Morocco, the Comoros islands or even France. Almost always they'll simply say, Marseille.

As more European countries become nations of immigrants, Marseille may be a vision of the future, even a model of multiculturalism.

The city center "is a district with a very numerous North African population," says Gaudin. At the heart of Marseille, on the plaza at Porte d'Aix, casbah merchants sell voluminous djellabas and Islamic veils, tea shops serve honeydripping sweets, and travel agencies specialize in pilgrimages to Mecca. The whole neighborhood is a hive of immigrants trying to find space for their new lives and old culture, even as both evolve into something different. One of the city's oldest mosques, El Takwa, is here; in the cafés, the older gentlemen sipping espressos wear the distinctive skullcaps of the Comoros islands; many women wear scarves over their heads, the hijab of conservative Muslims.

...During the Muslim holiday of Id al-Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice, I sat near the market on the Rue Longue des Capucins—which could be a street in Algiers or Tangier—having a glass of rosé (something I could not easily have done on that occasion in Cairo). I watched a bearded man carrying what I thought was a naked baby through the market. Then I realized it was a skinned lamb that was ready to be butchered. The annual slaughter of sheep during these Muslim high holy days has become a political issue as the government tries to confine the practice to official abattoirs on the edge of the city. But even there, those who resent the encroaching Muslim culture point to the torrents of blood as symbols of barbarism.

..."We French are being replaced by another people and their culture, religion, and way of life," says Stéphane Ravier of the far-right National Front. "The wave of immigration has been so huge in the last 20 years that we are being submerged."

"There are more than 70 mosques and prayer rooms in Marseille," says Mayor Gaudin, but clearly that's not adequate. The idea of building a grand mosque gained traction. "The population approved—by 60 percent. They understood that each religion ought to have a significant monument," says Gaudin. The cornerstone for the mosque was laid in May 2010. The rector of the main mosque in Paris came for the occasion. A Socialist Party politician proclaimed it would signify the "fraternal cohabitation of the communities." Construction was to be completed by 2013.

Three months later I asked a taxi driver to take me to the site, a complex of buildings that had once served as a municipal slaughterhouse. "I'm the one you ask to take you there?" asked the driver, who clearly didn't approve of the mosque. "The invasion has already begun," he said as we made our way through the streets up the hill.

...What worries some Marseillais is not the caricature of Talibanization invoked by right-wing extremists but what they see as the creeping Islamization of the city's largely working-class population—and not only those issus de l'immigration. "I think that Muslim culture is definitively taking over the lower levels of society," says Michèle Teboul, of CRIF. "There are many mixed marriages with Muslims."

"That's real integration," I say.

"That depends," says Teboul. "It depends if there is a mixture of the two cultures and not one culture gaining the upper hand over another," she says. In France, as she sees it, the institutionalization of secularism and the prevalence of political correctness have weakened the value systems in society and left people without any strong sense of tradition. "Loving your homeland, loving your country, having values— whether religious or other—has been put aside by the politically bien-pensant, and that has helped to break up families that no longer have points of reference, especially those that are underprivileged." Islam, says Teboul, offers a structure to the lives of many people who feel they are adrift. "I'm convinced of that," she says.

...Farouk Youssoufa, the youth counselor who works with immigrants in north Marseille, sees the lure of crime up close every day. "There's drug selling," he says, as we watch dozens of girls and boys practice a hip-hop dance for a celebration of Marseille's diversity. "Five or six years ago there were a lot of car thefts. These days there are a lot of holdups. That's become the fashion." Youssoufa's wife is one of the instructors at the youth center. I ask if she has ever thought of wearing a hijab. "I hope so," she says, surprising me at first. "But when I get older," she adds. "How much older?" I ask. Maybe when she is 40, she says, obviously thinking that future is very far away.

What will Marseille be like by then? It may well be the first western European city with a majority of its residents from Muslim backgrounds. Many other cities will have as many as Marseille does today, and most will have their own uneasy experiments with integration. But it's hard to imagine that on the Mediterranean coast here the beaches will be any less crowded or that the people on them will identify themselves as anything more, or less, than from Marseille.

Paris 100% Halal: Confirmed

This week other politicians have attacked Marine Le Pen's claim that all slaughter done in the greater Paris (Ile-de-France) region was 100% halal.

On a visit to Paris' main meat market on Tuesday morning, President Sarkozy rejected the claims of far-right Front National leader Marine Le Pen that all meat consumed in the Ile-de-France region is halal, without consumers being aware.

...President Sarkozy made an unscheduled early morning visit to the Rungis food market outside Paris on Tuesday morning where he said Le Pen's claims were "groundless."

"We eat 200,000 tonnes of meat every year in the Ile-de-France and only 2.5 percent is halal," he said.

The agriculture minister also criticised Le Pen's remarks, describing them as "false."

However, Le Pen's claim has now been confirmed by the region's Chamber of Agriculture.

The Chamber of Agriculture of the Ile-de-France confirmed today in a statement that 100% of the meat slaughtered in the Ile-de-France was in accordance with Muslim and Jewish traditions.

"No choice is given to the breeders" who have to go into the provinces to have their animals slaughtered," regrets the Chamber of Agriculture, which brings together professionals from the region's agricultural sector. The animals must travel "hundreds of kilometres", the carcasses being repatriated for conditioning and distribution in the Ile-de-France, emphasises the organisation which denounces the "loss of time and money".

Previously, the slaughterhouses in the region were managed by the local authorities but "the disengagement of the local councils has seen slaughter in the Ile-de-France handed over to private operators bit by bit", explains the Chamber. For "reasons of simplifying the process and motivated by the reduction of costs", these operators have favoured a "process of uniform ritual slaughter", regrets again the Chamber of Agriculture which points the finger at "the culpable consent of state agencies".

However the abattoirs in the Ile-de-France represent less then 2% of the meat consumption in the Ile-de-France, declare the professionals. The latter also regret the lack of information available to consumers. "In France it is estimated that 30% of the meat is slaughtered according to the Muslim and Jewish rites while their demand represents only 7%; 23% is thus marketed as "traditional" meat, again according to professionals.

Kosovo Trying to Get Into the OIC

(MENAFN - Arab News) A senior Kosovan diplomat has sought the support of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for recognition of its independence and to boost its diplomatic stature in global organizations.

The call was made by Rexhep Boja, charge d'affaires of the Kosovo Embassy, during a reception in Riyadh Saturday night to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the country's independence.
"Five GCC states, including Saudi Arabia, have recognized our independence," said Boja, adding that Kosovo is still waiting for Oman to recognize it.

The reception was attended by a number of top Saudi officials and diplomats, including Alauddin Al-Askary, deputy foreign minister for protocol affairs.

Boja said the Kingdom became the 58th UN member state to recognize Kosovo three years ago.
"Kuwait was the most recent among the five GCC members to recognize us," he added.
Boja said Kosovo is celebrating the fourth anniversary of its independence from Serbia with an ambitious plan to march ahead.

Saudi Arabia recognizes the Kosovar passports, which enable the citizens of the country to freely travel to theKingdom.

He pointed out that all citizens of Kosovo who now want to travel to the Gulf states can now use Kosovar passports. This is in addition to 35 percent of the OIC countries. "The recognition of the passports is a great achievement for Kosovo because we are convinced that the official recognition of the Republic of Kosovo is coming soon," added Boja.

Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga visited the UAE last month to attend an energy summit. She used the occasion to meet senior UN and GCC officials and seek their support for diplomatic recognition.

Boja said 88 UN member states have recognized Kosovo so far. The last OIC member state to recognize Kosovo is Uganda and Haiti recognized it on Feb. 10.

Boja said non-recognition has been hampering free movement of Kosovars in OIC countries.
"Although the long-sought goal of diplomatic recognition of Kosovo's sovereignty is being achieved slowly and consistently, Pristina has failed to garner substantial support from the OIC," said Boja. He said the country was still not a member of the OIC because of the cumbersome eligibility criteria for membership. He said OIC membership rules stipulate that any nation wishing to join must be a member of the UN first before applying.

New Vector for Immigration Propaganda: Bread

Yesterday I posted about how the French state was weaving pro-immigration propaganda into almost all strands of the schools curriculum. In Spain it's even more surreal: they're putting the propaganda into the bread!

In Llerida, a Catalan city that is one of the most Muslim-colonised parts of Spain (this is where the dog poisoning occurred and where churches were threatened with fines because their bell-ringing disturbed immigrants), when you buy a loaf of bread, it will come in a paper bag that contains "information" about immigration, "refuting in this way the prejudices and clichés which circulate as if they were truths".

The initiative enjoys the support of the Asociación Catalana para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo (ACDC) [Catalan Cooperation and Development Association], the Gremio de Panaderos [Baker's Association], the town council of Lérida and the Generalitat de Cataluña [Parliament of Catalonia] and is a new format for the various "anti-rumour" projects that have been developing in various Spanish cities.

The bags will contain figures that "counter the false beliefs about our foreign neighbours, such as that immigrants take up all the school meal assistance or that they are responsible for the collapse of health."

As well as baker shops, the diversity propaganda will also be dispensed via stickers, posters and book stalls. Future messages will "refute the prejudices that immigrants do not have to fulfil the same requirements when they open shops and the idea that 'we are being invaded'."

It seems other Catalan cities, such as Barcelona, have been doing this for some time.

In November 2010, when the Barcelona City Council unveiled its long-term strategy to improve coexistence among local and new immigrants, it launched a clever public service campaign to dispel rumours, misconceptions and the prejudices that many local people held about minorities and immigrants.

Among the city’s weapons? They recruited and trained ‘anti-rumour agents’ to dispel myths and spread the campaign through local organizations and the city’s neighbourhoods. Their mission? To contradict uninformed ideas about immigrants and combat discrimination. How? To take action as needed while traveling though the ordinary business of daily life.

Barcelona City Council has a website devoted to "rumour control". It contains resources and guides for "anti-rumour officers" who are also given special training courses. The resources include comics and videos. One of the latter is shown above. I don't understand Catalan but I get the impression he is asking for something truly Catalan in the baker's shop then the baker tells him "Oh, you can't have that, it's Austrian, oh that's from Switzerland, etc." It seems "rumours" about immigration are foremost among those that need to be "controlled".

Just when you think you've reached the limit of craziness, the the barrier is raised yet again. The parallels between modern Europe and the Soviet Union become eerier and eerier.

French History Classes Indoctrinate Children to Support Immigration

The French government document "National plan of action against racism and antisemitism 2012-2014" is quite shameless in acknowledging that education will be used as an instrument of indoctrination to inculcate politically approved views on race, religion, immigration and human rights.

...National school curricula contain, at all education levels, teaching designed to lead to an understanding of diversity and the richness of the cultures represented in France.

All the standard motifs used to instil guilt into European children about their own culture and history are in there: genocides (focusing on the Holocaust), and the African slave trade (although not the Muslim part in it you can be sure). While the history of genocide is taught, the Armenian genocide, the genocide that gave rise to the name, appears to have been thoughtfully omitted lest it offend Muslims. (UPDATE: Actually, I was wrong about this. Re-reading the document, I see there is a mention of the Armenian Genocide.)

There is also the historically-unjustified focus on non-European civilisations such as Han China, classical India and a "sub-Saharan African civilisation and its artistic production". The fact that almost no one, even people well-versed in history, could even name a single sub-Saharan African civilisation proves their utter historical insignificance. Yet European children must be taught about them for political reasons.

A favourable view of immigration must be instilled into the children.

In secondary school, the new history programmes for classes in the fourth year propose that pupils reflect on the evolution of immigration in France in the 20th century, which allows them to understand that the contribution of the foreign populations constituted an opportunity for France.

It seems religion has been reintroduced into the curriculum since 2002, not in a class of its own but integrated into other subjects such as history. Bizarrely, Islam is the ONLY religion taught at primary school level. The other monotheisms are taught at secondary level.

Pupils are also to be brainwashed till they properly appreciate the importance of human rights. This document is among the clearest items of evidence yet of how governments are now turning education into political propaganda. The propaganda is pervasive. If it was confined to just a Civics class, it would be bad enough. But it pervades all elements of the curriculum. The topics chosen for study in the History, Literature, even Art classes (studying African art!) are designed to interweave with the ideological agenda.

This plan is actually a complete blueprint for the promotion of the state's favoured "Diversity Macht Frei" ideology. Propaganda through the educational system is only one part of it. It also explains how television and cinema will be used to promote favourable views of diversity; it lists the "anti-racist" propaganda organisations that will be receiving government subsidies; and the new laws that will be introduced to suppress dissent.

If you can read French and you're looking for an example of how modern European states have been Sovietised, you cannot find a better single illustration of it than this document.

Bloody Hell: New German President Might Not be That Bad

When corrupt German president Wulff resigned, I thought they would probably find someone even worse to replace him. Since Wulff had led the witch hunt against truth-teller Thilo Sarrazin, worse than him would have meant very bad indeed. I even worried that, in a fit of multicult frenzy, they might give the job to an actual Muslim. Since the German president is not elected directly by the people, but by delegates from the federal and regional parliaments, this nightmare scenario was far from unfeasible. Even if this horrific possibility was excluded, it was always likely that the new candidate would be a hardcore leftie given that Wulff was nominally a right-winger and there was a general desire for consensus because of the circumstances surrounding his departure.

That's how it turned out. There is now a virtual consensus around Joachim Gauck, so it is virtually certain he will be the next German president. He was the Socialist/Green candidate the last time around, coming second to Wulff. So he must be pretty bad then, you would think? Strangely, no. Gauck doesn't seem to be quite the typical green leftie. Even the Counterjihad PI blog has said he could have been PI's choice for the role.

While Wulff denounced Sarrazin and tried to drum him out of his job as a federal banker, Gauck spoke out in defence of the beleaguered author.

The former Berlin finance senator and author of the controversial book "Deutschland schafft sich ab" [Germany is Unmaking Itself], Thilo Sarrazin, had "demonstrated courage", affirmed. "He has discussed a problem that exists in society more openly than the politicians have." The political class could learn from the success of Sarrazin's book that "their politically correct language generates the feeling in the people that real problems are being hidden."

Muslims Attack Churches in France

Mohammedans have been attacking more churches in France. Above you can see graffiti sprayed on a church wall in Escaudain. It says "Fuck France", "Fuck FN" [Front National], "Sarko we fuck you", "Death to the Pigs", "Morocco Power!" The AFP reported this incident, mentioning only the anti-Sarko and anti-FN tags, completely leaving out the anti-French and pro-Moroccan messages.

Another church in Épiais, dating from the 16th century, was robbed and then burned. The perpetrators were also responsible for a series of recent burglaries in the area. They have been arrested but no details about their identity have been released. So we don't know definitively that these were Muslims but I find hard to believe otherwise.

Astonishing Example of BBC Bias in Discussing Immigrant Crime Wave

This really is the most breathtaking example of BBC bias on the topic of immigration. The story here is that one quarter of all crime in London is committed by immigrants. But the BBC spins this to make it look as insignificant as possible.

First, it mocks the British people by saying they "dominate" crime, displaying a Union Jack as if we had won a medal at some championship. Their meaning, of course, is that a majority of those convicted of crime are British. What an astonishing revelation: British people commit most crime in their own country! Even that claim would be invalidated if we used a deeper definition of Britishness than mere UK citizenship.

Then the BBC claims that immigrants make up "almost half the workforce" in London. It's interesting that the BBC chooses to refer to the "workforce" rather than the more obvious metric of the number of residents who are immigrants. Why would it do this? Because the immigrant share of the workforce is higher than the immigrant share of the general population so it makes the criminal statistics look better.

Also the BBC's numbers on immigrants in London are questionable.

According to the most recent estimates, 32 per cent of London’s residents and nearly 36 per cent of its workforce were born outside the UK. At the last census in 2001, 27 per cent of Londoners were born abroad.

Any population has its share of the criminally-inclined. It is for the government to deal with them if they are born in the country. But any rational immigration policy would be highly selective, screening out those with negative characteristics such as criminal records and favouring those with positive characteristics such as high education levels that also correlate with low levels of criminal activity. Obviously this is not happening.

Also note that the BBC says of immigration from Eastern Europe that it is "beneficial". Is it really for an organisation with a statutory impartiality obligation to tell us that Eastern European immigration is "beneficial"?

Marine Le Pen has taken up the issue:

French far-right leader Marine Le Pen switched her presidential campaign back to immigration Sunday, saying all meat in Paris was halal, as she tries to head off President Nicolas Sarkozy's attempts to lure her supporters.

At a weekend congress of her National Front party in the northern city of Lille, Le Pen returned to familiar anti-immigration territory, saying she had proof that all meat in Paris was halal and that she would lodge legal complaints against distributors for misleading consumers.

"This situation is a real deception and the government has been fully aware of this situation for months," Le Pen told reporters on the sidelines of the conference. "All the abattoirs in the Paris region sell halal meat without exception."

The main meat industry association, Interbev, denied the allegation saying the vast majority of the meat in Paris is not slaughtered under halal or kosher practices.

"While some halal and kosher meat does find its way into other distribution channels that doesn't affect the quality of the product in any way," the association's president Dominique Langlois told France Info radio.

Le Pen is third in opinion polls behind Socialist candidate Francois Hollande and Sarkozy. The first round of the presidential election is on April 22.

Terrorists Spread Jihad From Jail

Some of Britain’s most dangerous Islamic terrorists are spreading their message of hate from inside prison.

A Sunday Times investigation has found that Al-Qaeda-linked convicts have been networking behind bars, revelling in their murderous behaviour and encouraging others to commit fresh atrocities.

They have exploited a series of failings and loopholes in the prison system not only to radicalise fellow inmates but to appeal to a new generation of supporters outside.

The revelations will embarrass ministers who are facing a backlash over the release of Abu Qatada, the extremist preacher, and who are now gearing up for their biggest security test with this summer’s Olympics.

Dozens of letters written by the terrorists — including the leaders of virtually every major plot against Britain in recent years — have been published on a website run by former members of a banned extremist organisation.

Analysis of the correspondence reveals:

- Abdulla Ahmed Ali, the head of a plot to blow up transatlantic airliners, has suggested Muslims should “sacrifice their lives and limbs” against the West.

- Extremist material is readily available to Muslim inmates. One convert says he is studying a three-book series by Bilal Philips, a radical preacher banned from the UK by Theresa May, the home secretary.

- Prior to his release, Abu Qatada, once described as Osama Bin Laden’s right-hand man in Europe, was associating with four senior terror suspects at a high-security prison who he has now been barred from meeting under his bail conditions. All five men signed a card to celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid.

- Hussain Osman, serving life for his role in a failed attempt to bring carnage to the London Underground on July 21, 2005, was placed in segregation after being accused of radicalising other prisoners.

- A complete lack of remorse shown by any of the inmates. Roshonara Choudhry, who tried to assassinate a Labour MP because he supported the Iraq war, describes a feeling of “euphoria” when she was sentenced.

- Supporters outside prison glorifying the exploits of terrorists. For example, Salahuddin Amin, a key Al-Qaeda “facilitator” involved in a fertiliser bomb plot against the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent, is hailed as a “Lion of Islam”.

The terrorists all regard their incarceration as a “test” from Allah, with one even likening the experience to “a holiday camp”.

Despite being brought up in the UK, most continue to show contempt for British society. Bilal Zaheer Ahmad, jailed for advocating the murder of all MPs who voted for the Iraq war, berates “a nation of binge-drinking bastards, whores and homosexuals with STDs”.

This weekend Steve McCabe, a Labour MP on the Commons home affairs committee, called for a government investigation. “Some of this stuff sounds dangerously close to incitement,” he said. “If the prison authorities claim they are monitoring and censoring material, then they are clearly not doing it effectively. It’s time the regime was tightened up.”

Sir Geoffrey Bindman QC, a leading human rights lawyer, said: “Whether or not they are committing a criminal offence, the undercurrent is that they are still militant and supportive of violence against the West.”

The letters have been published on a website called MuslimPrisoners.com which was set up by Abdul Muhid, a former member of Al-Muhajiroun, a banned group. Muhid was jailed in 2007 for soliciting to murder after a protest outside the Danish embassy against cartoons satirising the Prophet Muhammad.

He took down the website on Friday evening after being contacted by The Sunday Times, although its contents can still be accessed via cached internet searches. Muhid said he did not condone the prisoners’ acts, denied glorifying terrorism and said he would delete anything that amounted to incitement.

The Council of Europe has revealed that sex-selective abortion is widely practiced in Albania and the result is a growing gulf between the numbers of boys and the number of girls. Recent statistics show that for every 100 Albanian girls 112 boys are born. In natural demographic growth, the number of girls usually slightly exceeds the number of boys.

The Council of Europe warns that sex-selection, once associated mainly with Asian countries, has become popular in Europe, particularly in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Far-right groups in Athens have been patrolling certain neighbourhoods and beating up immigrants they accuse of taking work away from Greeks. Police have so far been reluctant to pursue the attackers.

Reza Jholam is a 16-year-old from Afghanistan living in Athens. In October, he was walking home alone when he had the misfortune of crossing paths with a far-right group called “Chryssi Avyi” (“Golden Dawn”) terrorising certain neighbourhoods in the Greek capital. Their target: immigrants.

“There were twelve of them. First, someone threw a bottle of water at my back, so I started running. But I couldn’t get away,” Reza said. “They grabbed me and hit me in the head with a bat. When I was on the ground, they continued to hit me until I was no longer moving.”

Reza arrived in Greece last summer after passing through Iran and Turkey. Once in Athens, he was helped by the Afghan Community of Greece, an association that offers immigrants Greek classes and workshops on Greek culture, laws, and customs.

Now, the organisation also informs new arrivals of the risk of racist attacks. “We give them a map of neighbourhoods in Athens where it’s best to avoid walking alone,” explained the association’s president, Yunus Mohammadi.

‘Stealing work from Greeks’

Yunus, too, has had run-ins with far-right groups in Greece. A year ago, several men broke into his office, ransacked it and beat him. “Nothing too serious,” he said, touching his forehead. Last December, the vice president of the Afghan Community of Greece, Safar Haydary, was also beaten by extremists.

“This type of violence has become a very common phenomenon here, especially since the beginning of the crisis,” Yunus said. “Some people accuse us of taking jobs from Greeks and hold us responsible for the security problems here.”

Yet another attack on February 16 hospitalised three Bangladeshi immigrants.

“It’s getting worse and worse,” Yunus said. “The most worrying is that it’s spreading throughout the whole city and even around the country. A few days ago, there was a report of a similar attack on one of the Greek islands.”

Eva Cossé, a reasearcher at Human Rights Watch, condemns the recent pattern of abuse of immigrants in Greece.

“These attacks mainly target people of colour; few of the victims have been immigrants from Eastern Europe,” Ms Cossé explained. “It’s an extremely upsetting phenomenon, especially since the authorities are hesitant to admit there’s a problem."

Indeed, the police seem to be in no rush to arrest the assailants. In the police station near the neighbourhood of Omonia, where many of the immigrants live and many of the attacks have occurred, officers have said they are afraid that the far-right groups will retaliate if pursued.

56,000 immigrants per year

Until recently, community organisations had managed to protect immigrants from right-wing groups.

“People here are angry, they want to fight against these fascists,” Yunus said. “But we need to avoid that, because it’s exactly what those who attack us want. That’s exactly what they’re waiting for to step up the violence.”

The situation is so tense that it seems on the verge of exploding at any moment. In a report on the recent attack on immigrants, Ms Cossé warns that "police and lawyers will very soon have to do more than just record testimonies from victims" and that "aggressors will only stop when the police react in a swift and efficient manner and carry out serious investigations.”

“The problem is not only the lack of action on the part of Greek authorities. It’s much bigger,” Yunus noted. “It’s a problem of how immigrants are received in Europe.”

According to Human Rights Watch, 56,000 immigrants arrive each year in Greece. The country is the main entry point by land for illegal immigrants in Europe, where, via the Greece-Turkey border, nine out of ten illegal immigrants enter the European Union, according to the UN.

“Apart from these abominable and overpopulated centres [which were severely criticised in a UN report from October 2011], nothing is done to welcome the immigrants, to explain to them how the country works,” Yunus said. “So we take care of them, on our modest scale.”

When Reza went to the police station, his face bloodied, he was told that nothing could be done because his visa had expired four days earlier. Nevertheless, an ambulance was called, although the doctors at the hospital did not clean or bandage his wounds.

Reza had only been in Greece for three months.

Today, Reza has recovered, with only a few scars on his forehead. But he dreams of one thing only: leaving Greece as soon as possible.

“I want to go to Norway, but the trip is expensive," he said. "You have to pay the border escort and other people. I’m waiting to save up enough money.”

In the meantime, Reza no longer goes out at night alone.

German Children Forced to Study Islam and Learn Turkish

German children in Bavaria are being forced to study Islam and even learn Turkish in their religion class. The photograph shows some of the teaching materials used. One sheet reproduces an Islamic prayer in German:

Another urges the children to learn Turkish so they can create a good atmosphere when they meet children of Turkish descent living in Germany.

Building language bridges

Although Arabic is the most important language for Islam, most Muslims in Germany speak Turkish. When you meet Turkish young people, by using a few phrases in their language you can contribute to a good atmosphere and mutual understanding.

It then gives German and Turkish versions of a few common phrases such as "Hello", "Goodbye", "How are you?" and the Islamic greeting "Peace be upon you", normally only used by Muslims to other Muslims.

Other texts urge the children to find out where their local mosque is and go there to have a look around.

Two teenage girls ‘taken to flat and raped by gang who thought they could do as they pleased’

Two teenage girls were lured from their home town to a dingy Birmingham flat where they were subjected to a degrading weekend of sexual attacks by a group of men who “believed they could do with them as they pleased”, a court was told yesterday.

The girls, aged 15 and 16, were driven from Telford, Shropshire, to the flat by two men who used them for sex before “offering them up to their friends”.

The men said that they were part of a violent gang and “used their strength in numbers” to persuade the girls that “resistance or escape was hopeless”.

Alex Chalk, prosecuting, told a jury at Birmingham Crown Court that the six men in the dock had “not a shred of respect” for their victims, who were targeted because they had “rough edges” and came from difficult backgrounds. “These men made an assessment . . . that if they ever did complain, their backgrounds and demeanour meant they would attract little sympathy,” he said.

What ensued was a weekend of “sustained degradation and humiliation” during which the teenagers, at times sobbing and begging to be left alone, effectively became the sexual toys of their assailants. Shamrez Rashid, 20, Amar Hussain, 21, Jahbar Rafiq, 28, Adil Saleem, 21, Aqueel Rahman, 20, and Amer Islam Choudhrey, 20, each deny child abduction in relation to the 15-year-old girl, who was reported missing by her mother.

The six are also charged with 14 sex offences, including seven rapes, attempted rape and five sexual assaults.

The court heard that the 16-year-old initially agreed to become a Facebook “friend” of Mr Rashid, who used the false name of Adam, after meeting him at a theme park in the Midlands.

Some months later, in November 2009, he phoned and arranged a meeting in Telford. Mr Rashid arrived in a car with a man he introduced as his cousin and invited the girls to travel with them to Birmingham.

Mr Chalk said that the girls were flattered but wary. They pretended that the younger girl needed to be home by 9.30pm because she was babysitting. The men promised that they would bring them back in time. The teenagers were taken to a dirty two-room flat which had a mattress in the downstairs kitchen and a bed with no mattress in the bedroom above.
Mr Chalk described a series of sexual attacks that were allegedly carried out by Mr Rashid and Mr Hussain before more “cousins” and friends arrived “with sex in mind”.

At different times more than a dozen men, “no doubt summoned by the good news” of the girls’ helpless presence, are said to have sought gratification from them. Both teenagers, at various times, were crying and during the night they discussed trying to escape from the flat to walk back to Telford, but they “realised that they didn’t have a clue where they were”.

At one point two men forcibly had sex with the 16-year-old in the kitchen while other men “kept coming downstairs to watch through the glass door”. It made her feel “horrible and upset”.

The girl later told police that she faced “a dilemma — should she do what the men wanted in the hope that they would leave her alone? Or would that just encourage them to come back for more? She felt like she wanted to jump out of the window.”

The case continues.

Geert Wilders Meets Anders Behring Breivik - in a Play

A play depicting a fictional meeting between Norwegian gunman Anders Behring Breivik and Dutch anti-Islam far-right leader Geert Wilders is to be staged in Amsterdam next month, organisers said Tuesday.

"This is a fictional encounter between Geert Wilders and Anders Behring Breivik," Olivier Willemsen, spokesman for the cultural centre "Die Balie" told AFP.

"Behring Breivik asks Wilders the big question: 'How far are you willing to go for your ideas?'" Willemsen said of the play, which will premiere on March 22 and run twice on March 25.

In the work by Dutch playwright Theodor Holman, Wilders and Behring Breivik have a chance encounter at Heathrow airport after the British screening of Wilders' real-life anti-Islam film "Fitna" ("Discord" in Arabic).

Released in 2008, "Fitna" showed shocking images of 9/11 and other terror attacks on Western targets interspersed with verses from the Koran.

The movie caused widespread outrage in Muslim countries, as well as opposition from the Dutch government, which feared it might spark a militant response similar to that which followed the publication in Denmark of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed.

On July 22, Behring Breivik, who has claimed to be on a crusade against multi-culturalism and the "Muslim invasion" of Europe, set off a car bomb outside government buildings in Oslo, killing eight people.

He then went to Utoeya island, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) northwest of Oslo, and, dressed as a police officer, spent more than an hour methodically shooting and killing another 69 people, mainly teens attending a summer camp hosted by the ruling Labour Party's youth wing.

Wilders strongly condemned Behring Breivik's attacks and said he was disgusted by the Norwegian's mention of him in his 1,500-page manifesto that circulated on the Internet shortly beforehand.

The Dutch politician's Freedom Party has 24 seats in the 150-seat parliament, where it lends its support to the coalition government of Dutch Premier Mark Rutte.

A theatre in Copenhagen sparked controversy in January by announcing it would produce a monologue based on Behring Breivik's manifesto.

Fdesouche.com is probably the best anti-Islam, anti-European Genocide blog in Europe. Although it focuses on France, it also covers similar stories from elsewhere on the continent. Many of the stories I post on this blog originate there.

In France, the website has become so popular that it has begun to have a marked effect on French politics. Marine Le Pen professed herself a fan. Multicultists, Muslims and the elite apologists for genocide who dominate Establishment culture in France as they do elsewhere in Europe, revile and regularly denounce this website.

They know that the simple collation of relevant materials has proved to be extraordinary powerful in undermining their worldview. It should come as no surprise, then, that Fdesouche.com is now under legal attack. A former Front National candidate, Pierre Sautarel, is accused of being the person behind the website, although he claims it is actually owned by someone in India. He has made this statement:

My name is Pierre Sautarel. I am 31. Since September, because I am accused of being the person legally responsible for Fdesouche.com, I have been subjected to what it is not excessive to call police and judicial hounding.

Because they don't have much to reproach me with, a judicial police officer has been been appointed to bring together all the complaints filed against Fdesouche.com regarding controversial comments and blame me for them.

But also to investigate my private life, my capital, my bank accounts, my relations with professional colleagues and friends. I am constantly summoned by the police. My acquaintances have also been interrogated.

The provisional conclusion of all that is that I am being investigated because of a complaint made by the direction of the association France Terre d’Asile [Asylum seeker "charity"]. And that I probably will be again next month for another complaint filed by Arezki Dahmani. I have been questioned in relation to lots of other complaints which might earn me some more investigations in the next few weeks.

Part of the Muslim infiltration strategy for Europe is to pretend that the healthy immune reactions against Islam (called Islamophobia) are actually part of some broader, malignant trend.

For example, Muslim leaders like to make common cause with Jews against right-wing extremism. We saw this in Scotland last week when representatives of Scottish Jewish communities signed up to a petition organised by the Muslim Humza Yousaf (who associates with "Hamas terror commander" Mohammed Sawalha) calling for a proposed Scottish Defence League march to be banned. (Eventually, the SDL agreed to conduct only a static demonstration instead.)

Muslims also like to pretend that part of the immune reaction comes from "militant secularists" opposed to all religion.

In an historic visit to the Vatican, Baroness Warsi will express her “fear” about the marginalisation of religion throughout Britain and Europe, saying that faith needs “a seat at the table in public life”.

There is a smidgeon of truth in this. The stigmatisation of direct criticism of Islam has been so successful that many of those who would like to say something negative about it will instead couch their remarks in general terms so as to be "non-discriminating".

OIC to Hold Anti-Islamophobia Workshop in Brussels

The media workshop on stereotypes of Islam and Muslims in the media, which will be attended by Muslim and non-Muslim leading civil society organizations, journalists, intellectuals, and academics, represents a quantum leap in media action as it discusses, beyond rhetoric, the practical steps to address the phenomenon of Islamophobia.

The workshop comes in implementation of the outcome of the Mecca OIC Extraordinary Summit of 2005, the OIC Ten-Year Program of Action and the various Islamic Conferences of Information Ministers (ICIM). It will discuss at length the reasons behind and the results of Western media offensive campaigns directed against the symbols and sanctities of Islam and Muslims, which still occur from time to time.

The workshop is of particular importance as it will be held only weeks before convening of the UN Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva next March, which will put Resolution 16/18 to vote for the second time after its unanimous endorsement in the previous session.

Worth noting that Resolution 16/18 aims to combat intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization of discrimination, incitement to violence, and violence against persons based on religion or belief. The resolution came as an outcome of bilateral talks between the OIC and a number of Western countries including the USA. The OIC and USA held two meetings in Istanbul and Washington on this issue in order to develop operational mechanisms to implement the resolution at the level of the United Nations.

The two-day long workshop will take the format of brainstorming sessions to develop mechanisms for cooperation with external partners and to develop an action plan to address the phenomenon of Islamophobia. The recommendations of the media workshop will be presented to the 9th Session of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM) which will be held in Libreville, Gabon, in April for endorsement and implementation.

This week has provided us with yet further evidence that there is no resistance to cultural Marxism left within mainstream politics. In Britain the nominally Conservative party threatened to impose quotas on business unless more women were promoted to top managerial positions.

Cameron said: "The drive for more women in business is not simply about equal opportunity, it's about effectiveness.

"It's about quality, not just equality. That's why one of the things we'll be discussing in Sweden is what other countries are doing to help women become entrepreneurs and take up leading positions in business.

"Women now make up nearly half the workforce across Europe and the majority of university degrees. But they are still not sufficiently represented at the senior boardroom level.

"The evidence is that there is a positive link between women in leadership and business performance, so if we fail to unlock the potential of women in the labour market, we're not only failing those individuals, we're failing our whole economy."

This is all part of the Diversity Macht Frei mantra that is driving the European genocide. The "business case for diversity" seems to be largely based on the work of the American researcher Cedric Herring. I'll make a more in-depth critique of this work in another post some time but it's worth noting in passing that even Herring acknowledged that "a corporate workforce's gender composition did not have a significant impact on a company's relative market share". So whatever the supposed evidence about diversity generally, there is no evidence that promoting more women to boardroom positions makes businesses more successful.

While Dave was in Stockholm learning about the "benefits of diversity", his Skills minister was preaching them in Britain.

Making sure that more people with disabilities or learning difficulties, and those from minorities, are able to benefit from apprenticeships is a priority for the Government, according to skills minister John Hayes.

At the launch of a government-backed marketing campaign to encourage more employers and young people to get involved in apprenticeships, Hayes said that he wanted to make sure everyone had the chance to "be their best" through access to apprenticeships.

He commented: "I want more disabled people, for example, to benefit from apprenticeships. I want more people with learning difficulties to be able to benefit from apprenticeships. I want more women to get involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) apprenticeships. I want us to have more penetration into the minorities who are, at the moment, under-represented."

The Telegraph reported yesterday that Cameron is planning to hold a "Racism in Football" summit following the witchunt against football players who allegedly insulted one another in unapproved terms on the pitch. It's OK if one player calls another bald/fat/stupid/talentless but if he should describe the other player as "black" (even if he actually is black", it apparently becomes a criminal offence and a grounds for depriving the player of his status or livelihood.

The Prime Minister and Jeremy Hunt, the Culture Secretary, will stage a “round table discussion” at Number 10 with leading figures from footballing authorities - as well as “player representatives” - next week.

The move comes amid growing fears that incidents allegedly fuelled by racism are harming the image of the game in England in the run up to the London Olympic Games, which begin in July.

It's clear that there is indeed racism in football. People of European ancestry are being systematically discriminated against. How else to explain the disproportionate number of negroes on the teams? Unless, of course, Equality Campaigners want to claim that negroes are athletically superior to non-negroes. And if they make that claim, do they concede that if negroes are superior in athleticism, they may be inferior in some other sphere? If not, they are implicitly claiming that negroes are the master race: superior in one sphere but not inferior in any other.

We constantly hear from diversity advocates that minorities want to see parliaments/boardrooms/whatever that reflect the natural demographics of the country. Well, OK. But is it OK for Europeans then to want to have sports teams that reflect the demographics of their countries too? Sports teams, especially national sports teams, do, after all, have a symbolically representative function. Think of the French team in the last World Cup. I think I remember one white guy in it. The entire team was populated by African imports who felt not loyalty to France, as evidenced by their going on strike before a crucial game. Apparently these people, largely Muslims, had imposed halal-only food on the entire team, including the non-Muslims. Indeed, Patrice Evra, who has starred in the latest contrived racism controversy in English football, was part of that French team. It was disputes over these "diversity" issues that led to them going on strike. Europeans have the right to see sports teams that look like them. If we're going to have quotas, let's start with pro-European quotas in sport.

But back to the main point. What the Conservative antics this week demonstrate is that there is simply no resistance left in mainstream politics. Cultural Marxist ideas have colonised the minds of the middle-of-the-road right-wingers. That is why (democratic) salvation, if it comes, must come from the so-called far-right.

And the story is the same all across Europe. The mainstream right-wing parties have embraced the ideas of the left. In representative democracies, most voters can be taken for granted. The number of wavering voters who could go either way and who actually decide the outcome of elections is often tiny. Parties have realised that the secret to success in this rigged system is trying be as much like your opponents as possible.

I saw a comparison of Marine Le Pen's National Front's policies to those of the mainstream right-wing party in France in 1980. Point by point, they were almost identical. Similarly, most people would be amazed if they saw some of the things the Conservatives were doing and saying about immigration in the 70s. Voluntary repatriation was official policy (although never actually implemented). Now it's the preserve of the BNP.

The mainstream Conservative parties have all moved left, deserting their voters, creating the policy vacuum which the far-right is filling. Across Europe, the so-called far-right is marching in from the fringe to the mainstream. Eventually the far-right parties will displace the traditional conservative parties or they will merge, re-stiffening the spines of the old guard. This is a necessary process, but it could take a generation or more to complete. In the meantime, the Muslims and the multicultists are laughing all the way to the mosque.

An undercover investigation by The Sunday Times exposed an agent charging £250 to guarantee a reporter posing as an illegal immigrant a place on a GP’s register. The agent even offered a “buy four, get one free” deal if the reporter could provide her with more clients.

Several doctors agreed to enrol reporters as NHS patients despite being told clearly they were in Britain illegally.

One GP promised to arrange for an illegal immigrant to have a hip replacement operation that would cost more than £13,000 if carried out privately.

The ease with which The Sunday Times was able to register with GPs will fuel concerns that immigrants are being attracted to Britain because of the opportunity to receive free medical treatment.

The investigation also revealed the chaotic rules governing the registration of illegal immigrants by GPs.

The Department of Health, Royal College of General Practitioners, British Medical Association and General Medical Council say such decisions are at the discretion of an individual GP.

Despite that, some primary care trusts which fund GPs have banned doctors from taking on illegal immigrants. Many other GPs have chosen to impose their own ban.

The lack of clarity leaves the taxpayer with a substantial bill, not only to meet the cost of treating those in the country illegally but to fund the doctors themselves, whose pay is, in part, calculated by the number of patients they have on their registers.

The health department is reviewing the guidelines, with the initial findings expected next month.

Yet until unambiguous and consistent guidance is provided, unscrupulous women such as Dipika Patel will continue to exploit the system.

Posing as the friend of an illegal immigrant seeking free NHS treatment, our reporter found Patel, who has two children, at her modest terraced home in Forest Gate, east London, where she boasted of helping dozens of illegal immigrants to enrol with GPs.

Patel explained how she passed the details of men and women who had entered Britain illegally to Nur Begum, a practice nurse at the nearby Boleyn Road and Sinha medical teaching practices.

Begum, she said, then registered the illegal immigrants despite both practices insisting they had imposed a ban on enrolling such patients.

“It’s best to join the NHS,” Patel said. “If you join the NHS it’s really beneficial . . . The NHS medical card will arrive at this [Patel’s] address. Will he [the illegal immigrant] be able to pick it up from this address? I don’t want him to say that he didn’t receive the NHS card and he lost his money. I don’t want him on my case saying I didn’t deliver.”

Originally from India but granted asylum to stay in Britain, Patel said she had operated the scam for seven years.

After demanding a payment of £250, including her own £100 “administration fee”, she then offered the reporter a “buy four, get one free” deal on registering illegal immigrants with a GP.

“If you bring me three more NHS clients like this guy, then I’ll do one free for you. If you bring people, you can have commission too,” she said, adding that she had previously helped “28 to 30” illegal immigrants to register for free healthcare.

Describing how some of those she had assisted had gone on to receive extensive free treatment in NHS hospitals, Patel added: “This woman was lying in the hospital bed and said to me, ‘You have put me on the NHS. Are you sure I won’t get billed for this?’ I said, ‘Lie down, relax, you won’t get any bill’ . . . There is another girl . . . her husband had a free operation. That operation would have cost thousands of pounds but he got it done for free. It was done on the NHS.”

As Patel promised, Begum called our reporter within hours to confirm that she had arranged his enrolment at the Sinha medical teaching practice in Plaistow, east London, and to arrange an appointment for a check-up. The registration contradicts the policies of both the Boleyn Road and Sinha surgeries. Receptionists at both told reporters last week they could not accept patients unable to provide evidence that they were in Britain legally.

Despite that, Begum welcomed the reporters, posing as the illegal immigrant and his friend. After ushering them into her office, she said: “Now he’s registered as a patient. He can come to see a doctor. Nobody will ask him who registered him.”

She then handed over a pathology test request form and told our reporter to attend a nearby health centre for a blood test, which would cost up to £200 if carried out privately.

When challenged about her activities, Patel swore down the phone before hanging up. Begum did not respond to several requests for comment. There is no suggestion that the doctors or any other members of staff at either surgery are aware of or are involved in the enrolment of illegal immigrants.

However, Dr Virendra Mittal turns a blind eye to the signing up of illegal immigrants despite his surgery in Balham, southwest London, insisting it does not do so.

Mittal wrongly told an undercover reporter that the General Medical Council expected doctors to report illegal immigrants seeking to register with them and, as a result, his practice claimed not to.

He initially treated the reporter as a private patient, charging him £30 for a consultation, before agreeing to register him for free NHS healthcare. The reporter had earlier told the doctor he had no legal right to be in Britain.

Mittal admitted he may have other illegal immigrants on his books. “If somebody tells a lie, if somehow he can prove that he is staying here, then I have no problem because these laws and rules have a grey line. Anybody who can provide proof; that’s why I have left this registration issue with the staff, so I am not involved in that,” he said.

One of those who have benefited from Mittal’s approach is Charan Partap Singh, an illegal immigrant who arrived from India on a six-month tourist visa but remained in Britain for four years before returning home. He said: “I paid an agent £100 and he got me onto the books of a doctor in Balham. There were four of us, all living illegally in London, who joined up from the same address.

“One of my friends had a hip replacement operation done. He couldn’t afford the operation back home but managed to get it done free on the NHS.” Several requests to Mittal to comment went unanswered.

At the Fulham Cross medical centre in west London, Dr Zaheer Hussain said that, regardless of their immigration status, his policy was to enrol a patient if they had been Britain for more than six months.

“Some doctors don’t [register illegal immigrants], but we don’t make too many investigations,” he said, before writing out a private prescription for a fictitious stomach complaint.

When the reporter returned four days later, Hussain agreed to prescribe medication to help with heartburn on the NHS.

He said: “We’ve applied for your national health [registration]. It hasn’t come through yet but I’ll give it to you on that. This medicine is £28, the other one [the earlier private prescription] was £3 . . . GPs don’t normally give this medicine, you get it in hospitals. It’s 10 times more expensive than the other one I gave you. They are both the same thing.”

When another undercover reporter visited the surgery and told Hussain that a female relative, also living illegally in Britain, needed a hip replacement operation, he replied: “It’ll be all done [sic]. I can’t do it but I can refer her. Just tell her to make an appointment . . . Believe me, she will be treated just as everyone else here who has a right. She’ll be seen here as another patient.

“Nobody will ask her when she came, why she came. There will be no checks [at the hospital]. They will check through us. Once you get a 10-digit registration number . . . I need that number to send someone to hospital otherwise they will charge her.” A hip replacement carried out privately would cost around £13,000.

Confronted about his comments, Hussain said: “There is a need for clear guidelines on this issue. I was under the impression that anyone who has been here for more than six months was eligible for NHS treatment.”

The General Medical Council said it would examine the findings of our investigation. “Our guidance makes clear that doctors must be honest and act with integrity, which is at the heart of medical professionalism. Serious or persistent failure to follow this guidance will put a doctor’s registration at risk,” it said.

Asian Race Attack on Grieving Family

A MUM and daughter paying their respects in Dewsbury Cemetery were subjected to a torrent of racist abuse by a gang of up to 20 Asians.

The 39-year-old white woman, who was with her 11-year-old daughter, was going to lay flowers at her mother’s grave.

The mum and daughter had just been dropped off at the Pilgrim Crescent entrance while the woman’s husband went to park up.

It was at this point that a gang of Asian youths gathered and began taunting them.
They were called “white slags” and “white trash” as they laid flowers on a grave only yards away.

The woman, who asked not to be named, said her daughter was reduced to tears and added: “She was shaking. I had to hold her hand to keep her calm.

“I was frightened and thought we were about to be attacked. Thankfully they stayed by a wall near the cemetery gates.”

The woman, originally from Westtown, had travelled from Hull with her daughter and husband to visit her mother’s grave.

They had just been dropped off by her husband at around 3pm on Sunday when the incident happened.

The husband realised what was happening and drove back to pick them up.

“My husband could see that things were not all right,” said the woman. “Our daughter had drawn a picture for her gran and was putting it on the grave.

“She couldn’t understand why these youths would be so abusive and I don’t either. My mum died only recently and things are still a bit raw.

“Westtown used to be a lovely area when I lived here 20 years ago. I don’t know what’s happened to it. There’s just no respect any more.”

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the victim made a complaint after returning to Hull and would be interviewed by Humberside Police.

He urged people to report incidents as soon as possible and added: “We take any form of hate crime extremely seriously.

“Such incidents should be reported to us as soon as possible so that we can get to the area and deal with the offenders.”

Ray Honeyford Dead

Ray Honeyford was one of the first of Europe's free speech martyrs to Islam. As far back as the 1980s, he saw the consequences of Muslim colonisation at first hand and spoke out against them. As a result, he was hounded out of his job and never worked again.

Ray Honeyford, who has died aged 77, was the unknown headmaster of a school in Bradford until, in January 1984, he published an article critical of multiculturalism and its effect on British education; widely accused of racism, he was subjected to a barrage of abuse, forced to take early retirement, and never taught again.

Honeyford had been headmaster of Drummond Middle School — where some 95 per cent of the pupils were Asian — for four years when he wrote his article for the Right-wing Salisbury Review. Local politicians and pressure groups responded with a campaign to get him fired; he received death threats, and had to enter his own school under police protection owing to the presence of pickets. His health, and that of his wife, began to suffer, and in December 1985 he accepted early retirement.

Honeyford’s article did not pull its punches, and his critics viewed some of his language as intemperate. He referred to “a growing number of Asians whose aim is to preserve as intact as possible the values and attitudes of the Indian subcontinent within a framework of British social and political privilege, ie to produce Asian ghettoes”, and “an influential group of black intellectuals of aggressive disposition, who know little of the British traditions of understatement, civilised discourse and respect for reason”.

He cast doubt on whether his pupils were best served by the local educational authority allowing such practices as the withdrawal of children from school for months at a time in order to go “home” to Pakistan on the grounds that this was appropriate to the children’s native culture.

He added: “Those of us working in Asian areas are encouraged, officially, to 'celebrate linguistic diversity’, ie applaud the rapidly mounting linguistic confusion in those growing number of inner city schools in which British-born Asian children begin their mastery of English by being taught in Urdu.” Honeyford accused the “race relations lobby” of employing “a dubious, officially approved argot which functions to maintain a whole set of questionable beliefs and attitudes about education and race attitudes which have much more to do with professional opportunism than the educational progress of ethnic minority children”.

“The term 'racism’,” he wrote, “functions not as a word with which to create insight, but as a slogan designed to suppress constructive thought. It conflates prejudice and discrimination ... It is the icon word of those committed to the race game. And they apply it with the same sort of mindless zeal as the inquisitors voiced 'heretic’ or Senator McCarthy spat out 'Commie’.”

Meanwhile, Honeyford said, there was “a small but growing group of dispossessed, indigenous parents whose schools are, as a direct result of the multiracial dimension, failing their children”.

This was not the first time that Honeyford had gone public with his views. In November 1982 he had written an article for the Times Educational Supplement (TES) attacking misplaced multiculturalism and political correctness in schools.

It was the piece in The Salisbury Review, however, that led to his downfall. The then mayor of Bradford, Mohammed Ajeeb, called for Honeyford’s dismissal, because the headmaster had shown “an inclination to demonstrate prejudice against certain sections of our community”.

Honeyford was suspended in April 1985, but reinstated five months later after an appeal to the High Court. Some parents then formed an action group and kept their children away from school, and in December 1985 Honeyford accepted a financial settlement and took early retirement. Drummond Middle School was eventually burned down in an arson attack.
It has since been rebuilt and has been renamed Iqra Community Primary School, though it is still known locally as the Drummond.

In the absence of the coinage of honest discourse, one can perhaps make a start by reporting and commenting on one's everyday experiences. I recall, for instance, the meeting called to explain to Asian parents the importance of regular school attendance for their offspring's future. A very high proportion of Asian immigrants have a habit of sending children to the Indian sub continent during term time with obvious, deleterious educational consequences. Not only is the practice inadvisable, it is almost certainly illegal though no local education authority has had the courage to bring a test case, and the Department of Education and Science turns a blind eye.

After much badgering from the schools, the local authority had agreed try to impose on brown parents the same obligations it demanded from white and black parents with regard to school attendance. Against all normal expectations the meeting was packed. There had obviously been a local 'three line whip' from the Pakistani leadership. It quickly became evident that what had been proposed as an act of reconciliation, based on the school's concern for the child, was to descend into a noisy and unseemly demonstration of sectarian bitterness.

The hysterical political temperament of the Indian sub continent became evident an extraordinary sight in an English School Hall. There was much shouting and fist waving. The local authority was accused of 'racism'; the chairman insulted. One anglicised Asian stood near the door and, at regular intervals, shouted 'bullshit' at the chair. The disorder was orchestrated. Questions were always preceded by a nod from a Muslim leader. A half-educated and volatile Sikh usurped the privileges of the chair by deciding who was to speak.

The confusion was made worse by the delays occasioned by the need for interpreting many of the audience had no English though there have been freely available English classes in the area for at least a decade. I raised my hand to speak several times but was ignored. The atmosphere was highly charged and threatening. I left before the end, bitterly disappointed.

Needless to say, the absenteeism of Asian pupils abroad continues. The authorities have simply given up. And I am left with the ethically indefensible task of complying with a school attendance policy which is determined not, as the law requires, on the basis of individual parental responsibility but by the parent's country of origin a blatant and officially sanctioned policy of racial discrimination.

My disappointment was compounded by a sense of irony. These people, who now so vehemently accused the authorities of denying them a right which, in reality was a privilege no other parents enjoyed, and no other group of immigrants had contemplated claiming these same people enjoyed rights, privileges and aspirations unheard of in their country of origin.

Muslims Prevent French Leftist From Speaking at Brussels University

This one is wryly amusing. It seems to dramatise the state of political opinion towards Islam in modern Europe. The scene is Brussels University. A debate is supposed to take place between Caroline Fourest and the historian Hervé Hasquin. The general theme of the conference is "Has the far-right become respectable?" Fourest intended to argue against. Although she is a committed leftist, she began to wake up to the threat of Islam earlier than most, probably because she is a lesbian. She helped expose Tariq Ramadan in her book "Brother Tariq". But she is an arch-proponent of the Goldilocks school of thought that there is some delicate middle ground between critique of Islam and embracing the "far right". Recently she published a book critical of French National Front leader Marine Le Pen.

Almost as soon as the debate begins, Muslims dressed in traditional Islamic attire (burkas, etc.) intervene, shouting "Burka, bla bla". They keep this up, preventing Fourest from speaking. Eventually she has to leave under escort without having had the chance to speak.

The leftists try to explain to the Muslims how they're all united against the far right, but the Muslims aren't listening.

Because she had uttered some mild criticisms of Islam, they had tagged her as an islamophobe and were determined to stop her speaking. The whole circus had been organised on Facebook by an employee of the university called Souhail Chichah. What's the betting he gets to keep his job after this?

He called the whole thing "Burqa Pride" and said it would represent the "stoning of Caroline Fourest". His followers also expressed their hatred for "whites" and Israel.

Will this wake up the leftists who still think that there is some accommodation to be made with Islam? I doubt it.

This is very revealing of the dhimmi mindset of so many of the "soft" critics of Islam. When they are attacked by Muslim radicals, their natural instinct is to respond by appeasing them, trying to show they are not "islamophobes" by attacking the so-called "far right", as if to say: "Look, Allah's executioner, we are good! We are not bad islamophobes! When we criticise aspects of Islam, it's only the tiny minority of extremists we target, or specific organisations, not the vast majority of good, decent, hard-working Muslims! Please don't put us to the sword!" But the sword swings anyway.

Dead Muslim Tried to Lure French Police into Ambush

I've posted a few times about the dead Muslim Wissam Al-Yamni, who lapsed into a coma while in police custody then, sadly, died. Following their traditional habit of turning criminals into heroes, the local Muslims then created a kind of cult around the memory of dear, departed Wissam, practising the ancient Islamic rite of burning cars in tribute to the honoured dead.

Two police officers were suspended over allegations that they had used excessive force in subduing the drugged-up Wissam who had attacked their vehicle. But now a new twist in the story has emerged. It seems the saintly Wissam was the one who called the fire brigade and police in the first place, claiming that someone was injured and needed help. But this was a lie. The call was made before any trouble had begun. Wissam's intention was to lure the emergency services into a trap, where they would be subjected to a barrage of projectile fire, as indeed they were.

Well, Wissam, you can certainly be proud as you look down from the great mosque in the sky. Your trap worked perfectly.

Thanks to our Muslim friends, if you're planning a metro trip to around Molenbeek in Brussels, you may be able to ride for free. Ticket inspections have been temporarily abandoned around this area. Regular readers of the blog will know that Molenbeek is one of the heavily Muslim-colonised areas in Europe.

The cause: a note sent by the police of the western zone to STIB (Brussels Transport Authority) last week indicating serious threats against "anyone wearing a uniform".

“Inspections have been suspended until everything returns to order in the stations Simonis, Ribaucourt, Étangs Noirs and Comte de Flandres”, explains a STIB trade union delegate. “The police have been threatened. They were told: anyone we see in uniform we're going to shoot at!".

An inspector, also anonymous, goes even further. “There are areas where we don't go ever. Or, if we're making an inspection there on an exceptional basis, we do it in the context of a FIPA operation (Full Integrated Police Action) and so with large police support”, denounces the inspector speaking of places like la Cage aux ours or les metros St-Guidon, Ribaucourt, Yser or Comte de Flandres.

“In these places, it is very very rare that we do an inspection in the station. At best, we do it on the surface”, testifies the controller who adds that after their operations “there is often vandalism”. Conversely, according to the STIB employee, it is always the same "quiet" places that are inspected.

As for the trade union delegate, refuses to speak of zones of non-law. "The measure taken at Molenbeek is exceptional but normally we have to go everywhere. But it's true there are stations where we take more precautions. We go there in numbers, possibly with police support and we activate the surveillance cameras," adds the trade unionist.

Breivik 'Deserves a Medal'

Breivik cited self defense on behalf of his culture as the basis for his plea. He said both attacks were a “preventive attack on traitors” because the Labor-led government – which he has blamed for promoting the "Islamic colonization" of Norway – was allowing the “deconstruction of Norwegian culture.” Breivik suggested he should receive a war medal for his actions.

“Ethnic Norwegians will become the minority in 10 years,” Breivik said during a brief opening statement, which provoked short, sharp bouts of laughter from victims present in court. “Indigenous people subject to genocide have the right to defend themselves.”

British MPs Find Solution to Muslim Extremism: Tackling Islamophobia

The MPs do conclude that there may be growing support for nonviolent extremism within the Muslim community, fed by feelings of alienation and a sense of grievance, and this is a challenge for society and the police.

They recommend that tackling Islamophobia and demonstrating that the British state is not antithetical to Islam should constitute a big part of the official Prevent strategy designed to counter the ideology that feeds violent radicalisation.

The MPs talked to the radical preacher Abu Hamza in the maximum security unit at Belmarsh prison in London, who told them the main drivers of radicalisation were grievances, especially concerning Palestine and Afghanistan, a sense that the prophet was being mocked, guilt and capability.

Billed the "Future Dialogue" about Germany, this one appears to be going slightly off the rails. On the website, users get to make suggestions about the future of Germany and others can vote on the proposals that have been made. So far, the most popular suggestion under the rubric of "How do we want to live together?" is one that demands "Open discussion about Islam".

Boumedienne's UN Speech: "The wombs of our women will give us victory"

One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory.

This speech - supposedly made by Houari Boumedienne, president of Algeria at the United Nations in 1974- is often quoted on Counterjihad or Counter European Genocide blogs, but I've never been able to find a solid source for it. I'd like to establish whether it is apocryphal or genuine.

The book "North Africa: contemporary politics and economic development" by Richard I. Lawless and Allan I. Findlay refers to "his remarkable address to the Extraordinary Session of the United Nations General Assembly on Primary Commodities (convened at his request) on 10 April 1974." It also says that Boumedienne "visited the USA only on the above-mentioned occasion." So, if Boumedienne did make these remarks to the UN, it must have been in that speech because this was the only time he ever visited the United States.

The speech is shown in the video above. Unfortunately, it's in Arabic and I can't understand Arabic. Occasionally, people who do understand Arabic visit this blog. So, if you can understand Arabic, please listen to the speech and then tell us in a comment whether it contains the remark quoted above. If it doesn't, we'll have to conclude that this quote is apocryphal.

French Minister: "Not All Civilisations Are of Equal Value"

AFP - French Interior Minister Claude Gueant, who is also in charge of the immigration portfolio, proclaimed on Saturday that not all civilisations have equal value, with some more advanced than others.

"Contrary to what the left's relativist ideology says, for us, all civilisations are not of equal value," Gueant told a conference in the French parliament building but closed to the media.

"Those which defend humanity seem to us to be more advanced than those that do not," he argued in his speech at a meeting organised by a right-wing students group.

"Those which defend liberty, equality and fraternity, seem to us superior to those which accept tyranny, the subservience of women, social and ethnic hatred," he went on his speech, a copy of which was obtained by AFP.

He stressed the need to "protect our civilisation."

The interior minister's comments provoked a torrent of criticism on the Internet, three months a head of a French presidential election.

On his Twitter account Harlem Desir, the number two in the French Socialist Party, slammed "the pitiful provocation from a minister reduced to a mouthpiece for the FN (far-right National Front party)."

The ruling UMP party is in "electoral and moral decline," he added.

For her part, Cecile Duflot, national secretary of the French Green Party "Europe Ecologie les Verts," wrote of a "return to three centuries ago. Contemptible."

German Politician Calls for Sharia in Germany

Does Sharia have a place in Germany? The interior minister of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate thinks it could, particularly in civil cases relating to marriage and divorce. But criticism of his comments has been fierce.

Most politicians in Germany have gotten the message: The quickest way to spark a career-damaging controversy is to make a facile comment about Nazis or the Holocaust. Media critics and political opponents are quick to pounce.

But that isn't the only way to attract unwanted attention, as Jochen Hartloff, the interior minister of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, found out this week. In an interview with the Berlin tabloid BZ, Hartloff said that Sharia law, in a "modern form," would be acceptable in Germany. In comments published on Friday in the center-left daily Süddeutsche Zeitung, he added that Islamic moral code "is certainly conceivable when it comes to questions pertaining to civil law."

Hartloff, a politician from the center-left Social Democrats, made clear that he was referring specifically to family law issues such as divorce settlements and alimony, but also certain instances of contract law in which devout Muslims seek to avoid paying interest. Applying Sharia rules, he said, could help avoid hostility in such cases.

Reaction, perhaps predictably, has not been entirely supportive. Jörg-Uwe Hahn, the justice minister in the state of Hesse, lambasted Hartloff, telling the mass-circulation tabloid Bild that "German courts are here responsible for the law. We don't need special Islamic courts."

Serving the Cause of Integration

He was seconded by Stephan Mayer, a parliamentarian for the Christian Social Union, the Bavarian sister party to Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democrats. Mayer, a legal expert, demanded Hartloff's resignation. "It is inconceivable that a justice minister fosters such ideas," he told Bild. "There is no room in Germany for Islamic law. The Sharia is barbarous and inhuman in all its forms."

Many Westerners associate Sharia law with the kinds of brutal punishments meted out to criminals in places like Saudi Arabia, such as stoning for adultery and chopping off the hands of thieves. But some elements of the Sharia are much less horrifying, regulating such mundane social conflicts as divorce cases and property disputes.

If Germany were to introduce parts of Sharia law, it wouldn't be the first European country to do so. Sharia councils have long been operational in Britain, most often focusing on issues dealing with marriage and divorce. Such courts also exist in parts of Greece, much to the chagrin of conservative politicians in Athens.

Some politicians in Germany, however, are not opposed to at least considering Hartloff's proposal. Michael Frieser, expert on integration issues for conservatives in German parliament, said that Muslim justices of the peace could perhaps be used to prepare the groundwork for a civil law judgement. He told the Süddeutsche Zeitung that he has nothing against immigrants seeking judgements according to the legal systems they are used to. "That can ultimately serve the cause of integration," he said.

Mediating disputes is an age-old tradition in the Arab world, which is also practiced in Germany. But experts warn of the danger of a parallel, Muslim judiciary.

They do not wear black robes and most have not studied law at a university. Muslim arbitrators, also called justices of the peace, do not work in courts or law firms. Some are imams, who adhere to Sharia tradition. They act as a mediator in marriage and other family disputes. In an ideal world, they manage to de-escalate the situation and prevent further disputes.

Joachim Wagner, who has written a book on the topic called "Judges acting outside the law," can see the positive aspect of that tradition, but his research has also yielded many negative examples.

Manipulating witnesses

Wagner sees the danger of a parallel judiciary

In an interview with DW, Wagner describes one of 16 cases he analyzes in his book. In that case, a man shoots another in the foot. Later, the victim's brother takes revenge and shoots the perpertrator in the leg. Both cases go to court.

According to Wagner, Muslim mediators from Sweden and Germany are consulted, resulting in a watering-down of the original statements in the course of the lawsuit. The shooting in the foot is now seen more as accidental.

Wagner claims the case is a typical example of how statements change and lead to a wrong and unfair ruling. In the end, the German court handed down a sentence of nine months on probation - too lenient in Wagner's opinion. If both the victims and the perpetrators had stuck to their original statements, the sentence would have most likely been harsher.

Question witnesses early

Wagner, who has a Ph.D. in law, came across many such cases while analyzing files and talking to police and defense attorneys. He noticed how readily the courts accept changes to original statements. The judiciary should therefore be stricter with witnesses, according to Wagner.

The German Bar Association is not worried about the issue

They should "give up their sluggish routine with regards to these mediation processes happening alongside criminal trials," meaning that witnesses should be questioned by the judge much earlier, so that there is less time for manipulation of victims or perpetrators.

While Wagner is adamant about the dangers of what he calls a parallel Muslim judiciary, the German Bar Association is more relaxed about the issue.

"It's not really something we get asked about a lot," Spokesman Swen Walentowski said. "So, we suspect that people are making a mountain out of a molehill here."

And, indeed, Wagner cannot back up his claims with reliable data. He did stress, however, that many witnesses, prosecutors, police and defense attorneys told him that what he described happened all the time. In fact one attorney told him that there was not a single trial that did not involve arbitration.

An-Sofie declares that she decided to do this campaign on her own. "I suggested myself" she said to the daily Laatste Nieuws. "I like to pose. I am completely in tune with this campaign and I want to support dad. I'm not afraid of the criticisms and the risks. I've already experienced it all in this respect, even as far as death threats," added the young girl of 19 years.

This campaign will be launched in Antwerp on 6 March. Numerous members of parliament of the French, Austrian, German, British and South African extreme right will be present. The senator Anke Van dermeersch, former Miss Belgium, is organising the event.

Politician Calls for the Return of Pork to Belgian Prisons

Of course it's hardly surprising that prisons are the first sector of society Islamic mores come to dominate. The astonishingly high percentage of halal meals in Belgian prisons, though, gives us an inkling of the veritable holocaust of crime that Europeans are subjected to thanks to their government's insane immigration policies.

Although some penitentiary establishments in the country have chosen to keep pork on the menu and adapt the meals to those who don’t eat it, other prisons on the other hand, like the one in Forest, decided some time ago to quite simply ban pork from the kitchens.

And that out of a concern for simplicity. At Forest, for example, 80% of the inmates only want to be fed with halal meals. So as not to have to redo the whole kitchen infrastructure, it not being possible to prepare halal meat in the same place as pork chops for example, the choice was made to serve only halal meals.

Which is what is giving rise to the unhappiness of some inmates who want a ham sandwich or the like.

Although in Belgium, no official complaint has been filed on this subject, in the Netherlands by contrast, one inmate has won his trial against the prison which was imposing a Muslim diet on him.

And here, do we need to bring about a return of pork in our prisons?

The liberal deputy Denis Ducarme thinks that pork should be reintegrated into the meals of all the penitentiary establishments in the same way that “religious liberty must also be re-established in our prisons.”

“Many prisoners of foreign origin are subjected to enormous pressure in prison by the Islamists who are practising proselytism in our prisons. Alongside that, anti-halal clans are also forming. We’re getting to the situation of American prisons with the wars of the clans. It is time that freedom of choice was guaranteed to inmates. And that also means the return of pork to the meals of those who don’t want to eat halal because they are not of the Muslim faith,” declares the deputy who this Wednesday is organising an “afterwork” in the headquarters of the MR [Republican Movement – his political party] with the theme “religion in our prisons”.

A debate open to all those present, notably several members from the staff of different prisons in the country as well as the French researcher Mohamed Sifaoui, author of several works on Islam.

“Next week I am introducing a new proposed resolution on each inmate’s right to religious liberty. So that this growing Islamic proselytism in our prisons finally comes to an end.”

820,000 Christians once lived in Bosnia-Herzegovina – until the start of the 1990s. Then the Balkan wars broke out and now their number has shrunk by almost half, to 460,000 people. The exodus of Catholic Croats from Bosnia-Herzegovina continues without interruption: because of numerous everyday problems, constant tensions and a growing Islamic radicalism. Pero Sudar is suffragan bishop and vicar general of the Archbishophric of Sarajevo:

"The war broke out then because of a lack of tolerance - with the goal of stirring up ethnic divisions. But unfortunately the implementation of the Dayton Peace Accord turned out to be almost a continuation of this ethnic cleansing. Specifically, it authorised the division of Bosnia-Herzegovina into two parts, the Federation and the Serb Republic. As a result of the Dayton Accord the Croats see no other option but to leave the country. They no longer have the political strength that could have led them to stay despite the difficulties. A small Catholic community there has opted for self-dissolution.“

But Croatia, the "motherland" of the Catholics in Bosnia, is preparing for the transition to the EU: a referendum on this topic a week ago resulted in a large majority in favour. Does that give the Bosnian Croats hope?

"We had hoped that Croatia, in its own interests, would promote and bring about our survival - the survival of the Catholic Croats in Bosnia=Herzegovina. As in a certain sense we are a bridge for Croatia between two larger peoples. But now with its entry to the EU Croatia may cut off its border with Bosnia-Herzegovina and leave the Catholic Croats to their fate.“

A fate that appears to have been mapped out. Especially thanks to the rise of a radical Islam of a Wahhabist character which is increasingly displacing the once so tolerant Bosnian Islam. Suffragan bishop Sudar has the impression that radical Islam now intends to advance into Europe according to plan. Bosnia is where the forces are currently concentrated.

"At this moment these tensions are felt worldwide and unfortunately religion is being used for goals that have nothing to do with it. If intolerant Islam gains ground in Bosnia-Herzegovina, its first victims will be our local Muslims. The fundamental problem with us here is that injustice has partly become an everyday phenomenon. And unfortunately even the representatives of the international community have contributed to that: not everyone has an interest in seeing the situation here normalised..."

In this festival, the participants symbolically re-enact the events of the previous year wearing masks. The intention is to provide a kind of ironic commentary on everything that's happened in order to ritually exorcise it so that the new year can start afresh. But Muslims don't seem to be willing to get into the spirit of subtle self-critique. They'd rather burn down a church instead.

An Orthodox Christian church famed for its valuable icons was set alight in southern Macedonia overnight amid religious tension between Christians and minority Muslims over a carnival in which Orthodox Christian men dressed as women in burkas and mocked the Koran.

Firefighters extinguished the fire on Monday night in the two century-old Sveti Nikola church, near the town of Struga. The church's roof was destroyed but its icons were not damaged, the fire service said.

Hours before the fire, Muslim leaders had appealed for calm among community members.
The January 13 Vevcani festival prompted angry, sometimes violent demonstrations by Muslims, who are nearly all ethnic Albanian and make up 33% of the country's 2.1 million population and accuse the majority of stoking hatred against them.

Ethnic tension has been simmering in this small Balkan country since the end of an armed rebellion in 2001, when ethnic Albanian rebels fought government forces for about eight months, seeking greater rights for their community. The conflict left 80 people dead, and ended with the intervention of Nato peacekeepers.

The Vevcani carnival, said to have been held for some 1,400 years, attracts thousands of visitors. Local residents traditionally wear elaborate, frequently sarcastic masks, with some of the most common costumes including devils and demons.

But this year's perceived mockery of the Koran and the burka costumes caused outrage.
On Saturday, protesters attacked an inter-city bus heading from Struga to Vevcani, throwing rocks at the vehicle but injuring nobody. They also defaced a Macedonian flag outside Struga's municipal building, replacing it with a green flag representing Islam. On the same day, perpetrators attacked a church in the nearby village of Labunista, destroying a cross standing outside.

Macedonian Muslim leaders called for restraint but also accused the government of promoting Islamophobia.

Deputy Prime Minister Musa Xhaferi said such incidents "create discord" and "violate mutual respect and trust."

We all know that the Labour leader Ed Miliband is a joke. Sooner or later he will be replaced by his more personable brother David, who stands a good chance of eventually becoming Prime Minister. It's interesting to note, therefore, that this Prime Minister-in-waiting is already on the Muslim payroll. In fact, he works for two different sets of Muslims: Arabs and Pakis.

Mr Miliband recently pocketed more than £21,000 a day for work in the United Arab Emirates. His rate of pay even outstrips controversial Royal Bank of Scotland boss Stephen Hester, who earns just under £6,000 a day in salary and bonus.

Mr Miliband’s latest entry in the Commons Register of Members’ Interests shows that he received £64,475 from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He was also provided with transport and accommodation for himself and an accompanying member of staff worth £4,935 for joining the ‘advisory board’ at the ‘Sir Bani Yas Forum’ in Abu Dhabi last November.

The confidential forum lasted just three days. The event was described as a ‘high-level retreat’ that ‘created a space for action-oriented discussions among leading policy and opinion-makers about critical issues for peace and security in the Middle East’.

Last week The Mail on Sunday revealed Mr Miliband is also working for a Pakistan-based City firm backed by a Swiss aristocratic playboy.

Because the burqa is banned in the Netherlands I thought it was fun to offer a carnival alternative for it: the burqa shirt."

Carnival, a colourful, musical and noisy feast celebrated annually in the southern half of the Netherlands, is often used to mock authorities and make fun of social issues by people dressed up or disguised in humorous creations.

Participation in Jihad Should Be a Capital Offence

One of the problems with the political establishment that dominates the western world is its love of abstraction. Our politicians seem to think that the higher the level of abstraction in their approach to a problem, the greater its moral force. This derives in part from their commitment to the principle of non-discrimination.

One of the most unfortunate examples of this tendency was Bush’s declaration of a “War on Terror” following the attacks of September 11th, 2001. It was ludicrous, of course, to declare war on a tactic. But political correctness wouldn’t allow the real enemy to be named. In reality, it wasn’t a war on terror, but a war on jihadists: a Counterjihad. In tribute to this abstraction, across the world today, we still see jihadists being dealt with under generic terror laws.

But jihad is a unique historical phenomenon that demands a unique set of measures designed to counter it. Consider the history of the 1000+ years campaign of slaughter. Tens of millions, possibly hundreds of millions, have been butchered in pursuit of this ideal; many more have been enslaved as dhimmis, their character and identity gradually eroded and eliminated over time as they converted or fled to escape the onerous conditions of Muslim rule.

More than 1000 years after Muslim armies invaded India (butchering an estimated 50-100 million over the entire course of the conflict), the same set of jihad ideals continue to inspire murder and mayhem around the world today. There is nothing else like this in history. It is a unique phenomenon. And the measures designed to counter it should be correspondingly unique.

Rather than processing jihadists through the justice system under generic terror legislation, we should develop a special set of laws that apply only to jihad. “Participation in Jihad” should be made an offence in its own right – one that comes with a mandatory death penalty attached.

Participation in jihad doesn’t have to mean carrying out or even planning a lethal attack. Any indication that a person even supports the idea of jihad should be sufficient to obtain a conviction. Carrying, owning or displaying the black jihad flag, for example; expressing support for Bin Laden on a web page; sending money to a jihad-linked organisation; distributing jihadist videos; describing suicide bombers as ‘martyrs’.

Anyone convicted of participating in jihad should be executed, their body minced and fed to pigs.

Our governments should just kill every jihad-supporting Muslim they can find. Choudhary and his mob? Arrest, try and execute them all. Qaradwi? If he comes to our country, grab him and execute him. Just kill them all. Be ruthless.

Islam is effectively a declaration of war on the rest of the human race. There is no reason why should play nice with people who have declared war on us. We don’t need to sit around waiting for them to make an overt, aggressive move before we act.

We should send a clear message to the Muslims: if you support the idea of jihad, we’re going to kill you if we can. In the course of time, this brutal approach may allow a less threatening form of Islam to evolve, since everyone who would have opposed it will be dead. We should encourage similar approaches in traditionally Islamic countries. One reason why we’re now “enjoying” the fruits of the Arab Spring is that the dictators weren’t ruthless enough. They didn’t kill enough people. In large part, this is due to the western “human rights” pressure that was applied to them, and not just from NGOs like Amnesty International but from our own misguided governments. Instead, we should have given them carte blanche to kill as many jihadists as they could find, told them we wouldn’t utter a peep of protest and given them as much diplomatic cover as we could.

Measures like these seem too harsh to most people. And that really is the problem. It isn’t the Muslims we’re fighting against. It’s our own weakness; our compassion; our hesitancy; and a misplaced sense of guilt about our history.

Europeans will need to find the steel in their soul if their civilisation is to survive. There is no nice way out of the predicament we're in.

On Wednesday evening a foreign woman was reportedly attacked by several dozen men. Some of the men raped her.

Her husband was unable to protect her from the mob, and a number of other people that came to her aid were also attacked.

According to BikyaMasr, one witness reported via Twitter that he “saw the woman and then dozens of men surrounded her and started grabbing her, when she screamed for help some people came, but they were hit in the face."

The woman was stripped and attacked for 10 minutes. She was afterward taken away in an ambulance.

Young Men Who Reject Britain to Join Jihad

Anger at British military action in Muslim countries is driving scores of young Somali men who were brought up in the UK to join al-Shabaab, the Islamist insurgency in Somalia.

In an interview conducted by e-mail, a British-Somali man from North London, going by the name Abu Anwar al-Muhajir, told The Times that he was willing to die fighting a holy war in Somalia and hoped to return to Britain “with a band of Mujahidin fighters”.

It offers a rare insight into why so many young British-Somali men leave the West to fight for a terrorist organisation in a country they barely know.

David Cameron will host an international summit in London next month focusing on Somalia, a country he recently described as “a failed state that directly threatens British interests” through kidnapping, piracy and the radicalisation of young Britons.

British intelligence chiefs have long warned of the threat that al-Shabaab, which is linked to al-Qaeda, poses to this country. In 2010, Jonathan Evans, the head of MI5, said: “It’s only a matter of time before we see terrorism on our streets inspired by those who are today fighting alongside al-Shabaab.”

Andrew Mitchell, the International Development Secretary, said last month: “There are probably more British passport holders engaged in terrorist training in Somalia than in any other country in the world.”

Last weekend one of them, Bilal al-Berjawi from West London, was killed when missiles fired from an American drone hit his vehicle outside Mogadishu. At 27, Berjawi was already an Afghanistan veteran and a seasoned al-Shabaab commander. The Foreign Office rescinded his British citizenship last year.

Mr Muhajir, who is also in his 20s, has a more mundane role in al-Shabaab as a foot soldier manning a heavy machinegun mounted on the back of a truck. He said that growing hatred of the West had driven him to leave his family and friends in Britain and travel to Somalia two years ago.

“My conscience would not allow me to sit inactively and enjoy the luxuries of the very nation that is involved in orchestrating widespread atrocities against the Muslim around the globe,” he said. Although he would have preferred to fight in Palestine, it was easier to return to his homeland. “Upon reaching Somalia I was welcomed by the Mujahidin as a brother,” he said.

He received weapons and religious training at a jihadi camp. “We were taught how to use different kinds of weapons, from a simple pistol to anti-aircraft weapons. It was very exciting, but most importantly we were given classes on how to apply Islamic Shariah and how to better ourselves spiritually,” he said, referring to Islamic law.

The religious education has left him implacable. His vision for Somalia is: “No man-made constitutions, no UN charters, no democracy, but the pure teaching of the Koran and Sunnah.”

Al-Shabaab has employed suicide attacks in Somalia and Uganda and Mr Muhajir said that he was “willing to sacrifice my life for my faith”. Most chilling were his comments about returning to Britain. “The only time I return to Britain would be with a band of Mujahidin fighters and our objective would be to raise the banner of Tawhid above all the cities of United Kingdom,” he declared, referring to the doctrine of the oneness of God. He did not tell his family of his plan to go to Somalia for fear that they might try to dissuade him or report him to the authorities.

Abdirahman Omar Osman, a government spokesman in Mogadishu, said that the influx of young British-Somalis was a real worry. “It is a very major concern for us in Somalia and for the UK,” said Mr Osman, who lived for many years in West London.

He said that Britons and Somalis must share the blame. “Parents have responsibility but so does Britain, where young Somalis are marginalised. They are not part of society.”

Turkish Police Chief Says Honour-Killed Women Deserve It

Women are partly to blame for Turkey’s ever-rising number of women’s murders, a retired police chief has said in an article for the January edition of the Contemporary Police Journal magazine.

“Naturally our women are in a position of victimhood against men due to the [discrepancy between their levels of] physical strength. It is not possible to say the same, however, with respect to [women’s use of] language and gestures. The blame for the murders cannot be squarely placed on men’s shoulders,” retired Police Chief Dr. Hasan Yağar said in his article, according to daily Milliyet.

Yağar further said nearly all such incidents pertaining to the murder of women take place in dense urban areas rather than in villages or hamlets in distant corners of Anatolia. The presence of attitudes that are not in line with Turkey’s traditions, customs and religious convictions in major cities are causing new migrants trying to adapt to their new circumstances to falter and fall into confusion, he said.

“It is a grave mistake to link the problem merely to the sadism of men. It is entirely impossible to ignore or deny that the matter is related to our national traditions and customs, and even to our social mysticism, or in other words, our religious perspective,” he said.

Muslim Taxi Service Set up in Germany

A Muslim Taxi service has been set up in Germany. You can see its website here. Although it seems to be more of a ride-sharing than a taxi service, it is interesting in view of the fact that Muslims already dominate the taxi trade in many of the European cities they have colonised. Trevor Phillips, of the Equalities Inquisition, once admitted that one quarter of Pakistani men in Britain were taxi drivers.

Muslim domination of the taxi trade is such that if you were a prominent Counterjihad activist, you would have to worry about it. If you were wealthy or had government protection, like Geert Wilders, you probably wouldn't need to worry about it. But if you were someone like Elisabeth Sabbaditsch-Wolff or Robert Spencer, say, travelling to a European city to attend a Counterjihad event, this is something you would have to at least consider. It's not impossible that a Muslim taxi driver who recognised you might lock you in the vehicle and take you out into the woods somewhere where his jihadi friends would come to help him dispose of you. Perhaps you'd get to star in a video as they cut your head off.

The Muslims running the service claim that non-Muslims will be accepted too but the name alone makes their discriminatory intent apparent. Undoubtedly this is just something they say to avoid legal problems.

If non-Muslims tried to set up a non-Muslim taxi service, you can be sure we would be vilified and prosecuted. In fact, a BBC radio presenter was sacked a few years ago when she requested a non-Muslim taxi driver. Here is the call she made.

The statistical over-representation of Muslims in paedophilia in Britain is well-known and now undisputed. But just for making this perfectly reasonable request, the woman lost her job.

Muslims are allowed to discriminate against us but not the other way around.

Leveson Considers Regulating Bloggers

Recall that this Leveson absurdity began with tabloid newspapers hacking into celebrities' mobile phones to garner material for their gossip columns. This prompted an inquiry into the "Culture, Practice and Ethics of the Press". The triumphant progress of multicult ideology in Britain has been marked by these public inquiries: the Scarman Report, the MacPherson Report, etc. All have served to tighten the noose further around the necks of the British people. All represent the encroachment of bureaucracy on democracy. Politicians, who, as Burke said, owe us their judgement, have repeatedly outsourced it instead to these public inquiries, which are typically headed up by judges or civil servants. (Leveson is a judge.)

I was wary that the elite might try and turn this occasion to their advantage by using the phone-hacking nonsense as an excuse to introduce new censorship techniques. It certainly looks as though we're heading in that direction.

On Wednesday, Muslim Brotherhood knifeman Inayat Bunglawala was agitating for more favourable coverage of Islam in the media.

The amount of negative stories about Muslims in the UK was demonising a whole religion the Leveson enquiry has heard.

Inayat Bunglawala, consultant editor to ENGAGE, today appeared at the Inquiry to present evidence on representations of Islam and Muslims in the British media.

ENGAGE stated in its written submission, “In consideration of the enormous impact of coverage that is proven to be inaccurate, inflammatory, prejudicial and detrimental to the representation of social groups in society, whether composed of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation or disability, the exclusion of “third party” complaints is deeply unsatisfactory and remains a grave deficit in the complaints handling powers and procedures of the Press Complaints Commission.

“A more robust system of self-regulation is required, one which mandates the right of third party complainants to challenge misrepresentations, inaccuracies and false reporting.

“British Muslims as a social group collectively suffer from poor media practices, whether this be the excessive attention granted to fringe Muslim groups, like Muslims Against Crusades, by the media or poor fact-checking prior to publication.

“Improving media practices and media responsibility on portraying and reporting fairly on Islam and British Muslims, without bias or discrimination or intent to incite anti-Muslim prejudice, is an urgent concern.”

Now Leveson is apparently considering extending regulation to the internet (including blogs) as well as newspapers.

Gossip websites and online news services should come under the same new regulations as newspapers, the head of the inquiry into press standards said yesterday.

Lord Justice Leveson said that he wanted a “level playing field” between print and online services, but felt there was a distinction to be drawn with chatter on sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

The judge expressed concern about some of the “nastier” stories appearing online. “It only serves to underline why the rules have to cover everyone. I think I might see there’s a distinction between Facebook, where one person is communicating with their friends, or Twitter, and organisations that are in the business of selling themselves by reference to news or information.

“That’s the difference between the pub chatter and that which the State, and I don’t mean government, has an interest in seeing is conducted on a level playing field.”

Lord Leveson has repeatedly referred to the problem of how news sites and bloggers might fit into any system of press regulation that he proposes. Hundreds of thousands of internet users follow political and celebrity gossip websites such Guido Fawkes and Popbitch.

Camilla Wright, the Editor of Popbitch, told the inquiry that the site exposed the “hypocritical gap” between how celebrities demand to be portrayed and how they act. The current definition of “public interest” was not broad enough. She did not rule out signing up to a Press Complaints Commission replacement but warned that other sites might simply move their servers beyond British jurisdiction.

Earlier, Daphne Keller, legal director of Google, said that it had removed hundreds of web pages from its search index relating to the private life of Max Mosley, the former Formula 1 chief. He told the inquiry in November of his frustration at trying to get Google to remove the pages as he attempted to restore his reputation after the News of the World wrongly alleged that he had taken part in a “sick Nazi orgy”.

Ms Keller said that Google dealt with requests for material to be excluded on a country-by-country basis. She warned that Google would end up with a “lowest common denominator of lawful speech” if it removed offending material from all national versions of its sites after upholding a complaint about its UK service.

In the first six months of last year, Google’s UK site received 65 government requests to remove search pages, more than a third relating to security.

Lord Allen, Facebook’s director of policy in Europe, warned of the dangers of trying to regulate information on the internet. “We are familiar with dealing with disputes on a very large scale. If you were going to create something similar as a regulatory position I would offer words of caution about the thresholds you apply before starting an investigation so you are not ending up simply unable to cope with the volume.”

Chechnya: First the Prophet's Cup, now the Prophet's Hair!

The Chechen strongman, Ramzan Kadyrov, continues in his historic mission of providing some of the best real-life comedy the world has ever seen. A few month's ago, in a ridiculous ceremony, he welcomed a cup to Chechnya which he claimed had belonged to the prophet Mohammed. In surreal scenes, the cup was escorted from the airport to Grozny's grand mosque in a vast limousine procession, the street's having been completely cleared in advance lest the mystic goblet be even slightly delayed on its epic journey.

Now, in another history-defining moment, Kadyrov is bringing a single hair from the fictional character/conman Mohammed's head to Chechnya. Praise be to Allah!!!!

Hopefully there will be video of this absurdity later. If the last video is anything to go by, it would be worth paying to watch.

Muslims of Chechnya are joyfully preparing to greet a holy relic, a hair of the Prophet Mohammed, which will arrive on a flight from Turkey on Thursday afternoon, RIA Novosti reports.

It is expected that the relic will be delivered from Grozny airport to the central mosque named after Akhman – Hadji Kadyrov. Despite the freezing temperatures and biting winds, thousands of Muslims have been lining up along the city streets since early morning while awaiting the hair’s arrival. Once the relic arrives, a collective prayer will commence.
Chechnyan muftis report that hundreds of Muslims are coming from the republics of Ingushetia, Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkaria to be in the presence of the prophet’s hair.

On Wednesday, the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said during a meeting with religious leaders that the appearance of Islamic holy relics in the country "is the best proof that the people of Chechnya are living in peace and harmony."

"I want every person to feel this majestic moment. Those who wish to should be able to see the holy relic. It needs to be brought to all the districts of the republic," said Kadyrov.

It is believed that the greatest amount of Prophet Mohammed’s hair is stored in the Turkish “Top Kapi” museum, which has around 60 hairs of the prophet, as well as his descendants.

Earlier in September 2011, a specially chartered flight from London brought Prophet Mohammed’s sacred chalice, which is believed to be over 1,400 years old. The chalice was met by over 3,000 inhabitants of the republic, who formed a solid line along the route from the airport to the mosque “The Heart of Chechnya” in Grozny to which the relic was delivered.

Muslims and Collaborators Agitate for 'Alternative Leveson Inquiry'

In this letter to the Guardian, a group of Muslim agitators and dhimmi traitors pick up on the Islam's channel's idea of an 'Alternative Leveson Inquiry' to try and pressure British newspapers into more favourable courage of Islam, as if they weren't already bending over backwards to portray it in a favourable light.

Over the past decade, a number of academic studies have indicated a worrying and disproportionate trend towards negative, distorted and even fabricated reports in media coverage of the Muslim community. Recent research at Cambridge University concludes that "a wider set of representations of Islam would signify a welcome change to reporting practices. Muslims deserve a better press than they have been given in the past decade." [Note the statement quoted is an expression of opinion not a research finding.] And according to a recent ComRes poll, one in three people in Britain today believe that the media is responsible for "whipping up a climate of fear of Islam in the UK".[So, presumably the other two-thirds don't believe that. Perhaps they even believe that something in the nature of Islam itself is responsible.]

The Leveson inquiry has so far failed to adequately address unfair media coverage as it relates to less prominent cases, including those relating to Muslims and Islam, focusing as it does on the impact of phone hacking on celebrities and other high-profile individuals.

An alternative inquiry is necessary to investigate what many regard as widespread and systematic discriminatory practices in reporting on Muslims and Islam in the British media. Victims – whether prominent or not – of alleged discriminatory media coverage have a right to have their testimonies catalogued and examined thoroughly by credible, independent assessors. Recommendations can then be made to improve ethical standards in the reporting of not solely the Muslim community but of all sections of society.

Let's Hope Soros is Right

I've posted before how economic collapse is a good thing. The only thing that matters is bringing the European genocide to an end. It was economic collapse that brought an end to the rule of Utopian extremists in eastern Europe and it may do the same to the Utopian extremists still ruling western Europe. Chaos is our friend.

A large-scale breakdown of civil order would be highly desirable. It would undoubtedly provoke mass rioting and attacks by the invaders upon the indigenous population. Perhaps the indigenous population would then be moved to mobilise in their own defence. Tumultuous change offers us the best hope for remaking our politics.

He backs the beleaguered euro, publicly urging European leaders to do whatever it takes to ensure its survival. “The euro must survive because the alternative—a breakup—would cause a meltdown that Europe, the world, can’t afford.” He has bought about $2 billion in European bonds, mainly Italian, from MF Global Holdings Ltd., the securities firm run by former Goldman Sachs head Jon Corzine that filed for bankruptcy protection last October.

Has the great short seller gone soft? Well, yes. Sitting in his 33rd-floor corner office high above Seventh Avenue in New York, preparing for his trip to Davos, he is more concerned with surviving than staying rich. “At times like these, survival is the most important thing,” he says, peering through his owlish glasses and brushing wisps of gray hair off his forehead. He doesn’t just mean it’s time to protect your assets. He means it’s time to stave off disaster. As he sees it, the world faces one of the most dangerous periods of modern history—a period of “evil.” Europe is confronting a descent into chaos and conflict. In America he predicts riots on the streets that will lead to a brutal clampdown that will dramatically curtail civil liberties. The global economic system could even collapse altogether.

“I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros tells Newsweek. “We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse. The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.”

...Soros draws on his past to argue that the global economic crisis is as significant, and unpredictable, as the end of communism. “The collapse of the Soviet system was a pretty extraordinary event, and we are currently experiencing something similar in the developed world, without fully realizing what’s happening.”

...“if you have a disorderly collapse of the euro, you have the danger of a revival of the political conflicts that have torn Europe apart over the centuries—an extreme form of nationalism, which manifests itself in xenophobia, the exclusion of foreigners and ethnic groups. In Hitler’s time, that was focused on the Jews. Today, you have that with the Gypsies, the Roma, which is a small minority, and also, of course, Muslim immigrants.”

As anger rises, riots on the streets of American cities are inevitable. “Yes, yes, yes,” he says, almost gleefully. The response to the unrest could be more damaging than the violence itself. “It will be an excuse for cracking down and using strong-arm tactics to maintain law and order, which, carried to an extreme, could bring about a repressive political system, a society where individual liberty is much more constrained, which would be a break with the tradition of the United States.”

Soros insists the key to avoiding cataclysm in 2012 is not to let the crises of 2011 go to waste. “In the crisis period, the impossible becomes possible. The European Union could regain its luster. I’m hopeful that the United States, as a political entity, will pass a very severe test and actually strengthen the institution.”

A Belgian politician, Alain Destexhe, has found himself at the centre of a "racism" scandal after a seemingly innocent remark he made on Twitter. When a Brussels metro station had to be shut down after it was vandalised by cagoul-clad youths, Destexhe posted the remark shown above on Twitter. The term "Norwegians" is, of course, ironic. Apparently it has become a kind of humorous code used in Brussels. Because political correctness prevents those truly responsible for the crime and insecurity that now blights the city - North African Muslims - being named, people say "Norwegians" instead.

But the humorous remark has generated a storm of criticism. The leader of his political party has denounced him.

"The president of the MR [his political party, called Mouvement Réformateur (Reform Movement)] condemns the ridiculous and unacceptable remarks of Alain Destexhe. He will speak with him directly during the day".

The New York Times Knows How we Can Integrate Muslims

The answer, apparently, is to pander to them even more: weave Islam into the education system (even more!) and "consult" Muslim organisations regularly. What a genius and original plan!

Note how he acknowledges that the Muslim population of Europe will double in the next 20 years. And he conveniently forgets to mention that the dead Wissam El-Yamni attacked the police before being taken into custody.

TWO weeks ago, dozens of cars were set alight in the French city of Clermont-Ferrand after a 30-year-old truck driver, Wissam El-Yamni, was roughed up and then died while in police custody. The uproar underscored the hostility of young minority men toward authority across communities in Europe, an antipathy that has at times led to deadly violence.

The failure of Islamic integration in Europe is often attributed — especially by right-wing parties — to an excess of tolerance toward the large-scale Muslim immigration that began in the mid-1970s. By recognizing Muslim religious requirements, the argument goes, countries like France, Britain and the Netherlands have unwittingly hindered assimilation and even, in some cases, fostered radicalism. But the unrest in gritty European suburbs stems not from religious difference, but from anomie.

Europeans should not be afraid to allow Muslim students to take classes on Islam in state-financed schools and universities. The recognition and accommodation of Islamic religious practices, from clothing to language to education, does not mean capitulation to fundamentalism. On the contrary, only by strengthening the democratic rights of Muslim citizens to form associations, join political parties and engage in other aspects of civic life can Europe integrate immigrants and give full meaning to the abstract promise of religious liberty.

The rise of right-wing, anti-immigrant parties has led several European countries to impose restrictions on Islamic dress, mosque-building and reunification of families through immigration law. These policies are counterproductive. Paradoxically, people for whom religion is otherwise not all that important become more attached to their faith’s clothing, symbols and traditions when they feel they are being singled out and denied basic rights.

Take, for example, the French debate over whether to recognize the Jewish Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, and the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha as official holidays. Yes, the French state clings to the principle of “laïcité,” or secularism — but the state’s recognition of Easter and Christmas as official holidays feels, to some Jews and Muslims, like hypocrisy. It is Islam’s absence in the institutions young European Muslims encounter, starting with the school’s calendar, classroom and canteen, that contributes to anger and alienation.

In the last few months, there have been some signs that the right-wing momentum has slowed. A French bill to ban headscarves from day care centers was killed in committee. The Dutch Parliament voted down a bill to outlaw Islamic animal slaughter. And Germany’s most populous state helped offset a judicial ban on school prayer by announcing equal access to religion courses for Muslim students.

European countries could use a period of benign neglect of the Islam issue — but only after they finish incorporating religion into the national fabric. For too long, they have instead masked an absence of coherent integration policy under the cloak of “multiculturalism.” The state outsourced the hard work of integration to foreign diplomats and Islamist institutions — for example, some students in Germany read Saudi-supplied textbooks in Saudi-run institutions.

This neglect of integration helped an unregulated “underground Islam” to take hold in storefronts, basements and courtyards. It reflected wishful thinking about how long guest workers would stay and perpetuated a myth of eventual departure and repatriation.

In Britain, for example, race-based equality laws protected Sikhs and Jews as minorities, but not Hindus and Muslims, since they were still considered “foreign.”

Institutional exclusion fueled a demand for religious recognition, and did much to unite and segregate Muslims. Islamist organizations became the most visible defenders of the faith. It is crucial now to provide the right mix of institutional incentives for religious and political moderation, and the most promising strategy for doing that is for governments to consult with the full range of law-abiding religious institutions that Muslims have themselves established.

The French Council for the Muslim Faith, the German Islam Conference, the Committee for Italian Islam and the Mosques and Imams National Advisory Board in Britain — all state-sanctioned Islamic organizations set up in the past decade — represent a broad cross-section of mosque administrators in every country. They have quietly begun reconciling many practical issues, from issuing mosque permits to establishing Islamic theology departments at public universities to appointing chaplains in the military and in prisons.

Ultimately, however, elected democratic institutions are the place where the desires of individual Muslims should be expressed. Ever since 1789, when a French legislator argued that “the Jews should be denied everything as a nation, but granted everything as individuals,” Europeans have struggled to resolve the tension between rights derived from universal citizenship versus group membership.

Over the next 20 years, Europe’s Muslim population is projected to grow to nearly 30 million — 7 to 8 percent of all Europeans — from around 17 million. Granting Muslims full religious freedom wouldn’t remove obstacles to political participation or create jobs. But it would at least allow tensions over Muslims’ religious practices to fade. This would avoid needless sectarian strife and clear the way for politicians to address the more vexing and urgent challenges of socioeconomic integration.

Czech artist plans to 'recycle' Sarrazin's controversial book

The artist has collected three books so far
A Czech artist has urged people to drop off a controversial German bestseller at collection points. He plans an art installation of thousands of copies, to be 'recycled' afterwards. Critics are reminded of Nazi practice.

Thilo Sarrazin, a former central banker and politician, is currently writing a book on the European debt crisis. He will be hard pressed to come up with a work that will even come close to his controversial bestseller "Germany Is Doing Away with Itself."
The book suggests that immigrants of Turkish and Arab origin refuse to integrate, and constitute a threat to Germany's indigenous culture. It has sold 1.3 million copies in Germany alone and was the focus of heated debate when it was published in 2010.
Czech artist Martin Zet read Sarrazin's book in 2011, when it was released in Czech - and he agreed with the critics that "Germany Is Doing Away with Itself" promotes anti-migrant and anti-Turkish tendencies in Germany.
Personalizing the project
Using the website of the 7th Berlin Biennale as a platform, Zet has launched the campaign "Germany Does Away with It."
"I suggest using the book as an instrument enabling people to privately manifest their personal position,” Martin Zet wrote on the contemporary art show's website.

With his plan to 'collect' and 'recycle,' the Czech artist's choice of words has set in motion a chain reaction.
Website users posted responses drawing a parallel to the Nazi campaign in 1933 of burning books that did not fit their ideology.
Martin Zet never said he wanted to destroy or even burn controversial books. But he did tell Die Welt newspaper that the book burnings came to mind.
"But I also thought Germany has moved on," he said, adding that he wasn't aware the country was still so traumatized. "I expected a fierce reaction - but concerning the present and the future."
The historical link
Across Germany on May 10, 1933, members of the Nazis' student association publicly burned thousands of books deemed "un-German." The authors included Bertolt Brecht, Albert Einstein, Kurt Tucholsky and Heinrich Heine. Ahead of the burning, organizers had urged citizens to drop off the books at certain collection points. They called the literary purge a "book collection campaign," just has Martin Zet has labeled his appeal.
Werner Tress of the Potsdam-based Moses Mendelssohn Center (MMZ) was shocked by the planned art project he discovered via a Facebook link. He protested immediately "because the term 'recycle' suggests that large amounts of books are to be destroyed."
The campaign, he added, comes quite close to what the Nazis did in 1933.

Whether or not Germans have overcome a trauma isn't the issue here, according to Tress: "The issue is whether we have gotten over such a practice. I thought we would never again lower ourselves to a level where books are destroyed."
Every book is of cultural value and should not be publicly destroyed, he said, not even in the name of artistic freedom or if it serves to prompt a constructive debate. "I believe that art that claims a moral standard and points out social evils may not put itself above this moral norm," Tress commented.
Users on the Berlin Biennale website argue the age-old question of how far art can go. But they also wonder whether the immediate comparison with Nazi practices is appropriate or just a typical German reflex: politically correct and necessary.
"In the historical context, destruction is too brutal and, anyway, it's an act of suppression rather than debate. It's good to see there still seem to be enough people around who are aware of that and think the project is wrong - like I do," user "Katja" wrote.
Talking at cross purposes?
Another user commented the project has too much to do with the destruction of ideas.
Is the art project too similar to Nazi campaigns?But user "Melanie" applauded the initiative "because it's a big difference if a state systematically burns books, thus suppressing political opinions, or if books are collected for an art project that wants to make a political statement."
Martin Zet said he understands his critics for the most part, but that he never planned to destroy books. He confessed he has no idea what to do with the books once the Berlin exhibition closes in July, but that the installation itself is a form of recycling.
It is unfortunate, Zet said, that what gave him the idea for the art project doesn't appear to be on anybody's agenda at all: the debate about how we treat immigrants who do not contribute to their new country's economic prosperity.
Despite the controversy, Zet said he plans to put together his installation. The question is whether he will have the 60,000 books he hopes for.
"I would like to lie and say I've already received 15,000," Zet said. "But I'll be honest: So far, I only have three."

Goodbye Forsane Alizza

Forsane Alizza were a sort of French equivalent to Anjem Choudary's mob in Britain. I've posted about a few of their stunts before. Now they are to be dissolved by order of the French government.

The government has ordered the dissolution of a domestic Islamist group, saying that it was a terrorist organization training its members “for armed combat,” Interior Minister Claude Guéant said Monday. The Web site of the group, Forsane Alizza or “The Knights of Pride,” says its aim is to fight Islamophobia. The Web site is laced with anti-Semitic material and postings supporting organizations that are widely deemed to be terrorist groups, including the Afghan Taliban. A recent recruitment appeal by Forsane Alizza called for “soldiers,” and the group acknowledges some violent aims, in particular in the defense of Muslim women. The group gained attention last year through demonstrations against a French law banning the wearing of the full facial veil in public. A cofounder of the group, Mohammed Achamlane, said it would contest the dissolution order in court. “This is truly farcical,” he said in a telephone interview from Nantes in western France. “They have absolutely nothing against us.”

It's OK to be Nasty to European Immigrants

This is an example of a phenomenon that we're seeing more and more of: government ministers being nasty to European immigrants. It's considered OK to be nasty to our fellow Europeans. But if the immigrants are darkly pigmented, different rules apply.

Labour Minister Hanne Bjurstrøm had a message over the weekend for hopeful immigrants from southern Europe who’ve been arriving in Norway in search of jobs: “Go home.” Bjurstrøm worries they won’t find jobs, and won’t be eligible for any help, either.

Labour Minister Hanne Bjurstrøm is encouraging would-be immigrants to return home if they don't find work in Norway quickly.

“If there’s no work for them, then there is no work,” Bjurstrøm told both newspaper Bergens Tidende and Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK). She claimed she wasn’t being heartless, just practical.

“We are part of the free European labour market,” said Bjurstrøm, from the Labour Party herself. “That means folks can freely travel around and look for jobs. But if there are no jobs (for which they qualify), we as a state have no obligations towards the applicants, apart from making sure they don’t suffer from acute needs.”

Norwegian immigration and tax officials have been seeing a sharp rise in the number of people arriving in Norway from Spain, where unemployment is very high. The problem, they claim, is that many of the new arrivals speak very little English much less Norwegian. That makes it hard for them to find work, because they lack proficiency in languages other than Spanish.

“Then, in my opinion, it’s better for them to go back home where they at least may have friends and family, instead of being cold and broke here in Norway,” Bjurstrøm said.
She doesn’t think Norway will see a huge influx of immigrants from Spain, Greece or Italy. Last year, reported news bureau NTB, around 3,000 tax cards (needed to work legally in Norway) were issued to people from Spain, compared to 70,000 issued to immigrants from Poland and 80,000 to Swedes.

Here's another example of it from last week: the French Interior minister blaming a surge in crime on immigrants - from Eastern Europe.

France's hardline interior minister blamed central and eastern Europeans on Tuesday for a 16 percent surge in burglaries last year, stimulating debate on immigration just three months before a presidential election.

Claude Gueant has raised eyebrows with his right-wing stance on immigration since President Nicolas Sarkozy promoted him to his cabinet a year ago.

Gueant hailed 12,000 fewer incidents of crime in 2011. It was a 0.34 percent reduction from 2010 and the ninth straight year of falling crime. But he pointed to a recent rising trend in crime by central and east European offenders. "It's a trend we've been seeing for two years. These are raids by teams of criminals from abroad, especially central and eastern Europe," Gueant told a news conference.

Putin: Multiculturalism has Failed

The Russian Prime Minister, a top contender for upcoming presidential elections, is providing voters with more food for thought as he promotes his plan for uniting Russia’s multi-ethnic society.

Coming one week after the release of an article that addressed the development of Russian civilization, Vladimir Putin is setting his sights on another penetrating subject, this one involving the importance of uniting Russia’s various ethnic communities together under the banner of Russian culture and values.

“For Russia – with its wide range of languages, traditions, ethnicities, and cultures – the national question is, without exaggeration, of fundamental value,” Putin states in his opening sentence. “Any responsible politician, public figure, must recognize that one of the main conditions of our country’s very existence is civil and interethnic harmony.”
Putin draws attention to the modern problem of “colossal immigration flows” representing millions of people worldwide who are “in search of a better life.” These surging numbers of emigrants and refugees, who are fleeing from “hunger and chronic conflicts, poverty and social unrest” are forcing even the most developed and tolerant nations to address the “national question.”

Multiculturalism creates multi problems

In the midst of this great global experiment, unprecedented in its scope, Putin notes that the “melting pot” of assimilation is…unable to “digest” the growing migration flow.
He also criticizes the move toward multiculturalism, which he says “rejects the notion of integration through assimilation.”

Multiculturalism “elevates the (idea of the) ‘right of minorities to be different’ to the absolute and, at the same time, insufficiently balances this right with civil, behavioral, and cultural obligations in regard to the indigenous population and society as a whole,” Putin argues.

What multiculturalism is leading to in many countries, according to the Prime Minister, is the formation of “closed national and religious communities…which not only refuse to assimilate, but [do not] even adapt.” Putin expressed his astonishment that “neighborhoods and entire cities where generations of immigrants are living on welfare…do not speak the language of the host country.”

There can be just one outcome for such a social model: xenophobia on the part of the indigenous population, which understandably seeks to “protect its interests, jobs, and social benefits from the ‘foreign competitors.’”

Putin performs a delicate balancing act in his article by celebrating Russia’s “cultural dominance” on the one hand, while warning against the “bacilli of nationalism” on the other.

...“This civilizational identity is based on preservation of Russian cultural dominance, which is not only carried by ethnic Russians, but all carriers of this identity regardless of nationality,” Putin writes. “This is the cultural code that has, in the recent years, been subject to some serious trials, which people have tried and continue to try to break. And it has, nevertheless, prevailed. At the same time, it needs to be nourished, strengthened, and protected.”

...Finally, Putin stressed the importance of developing Russia’s democratic, multi-party system.

“Today, decisions are being made aimed at…liberalizing the registration and operational process of political parties, as well as an initiative to return the elections of regional governors.”

The Russian Prime Minister, however, singled out those who “rely on nationalistic, separatist, and similar forces and groups.”

These organizations must be immediately, within the framework of democratic judicial procedures, excluded from the electoral process, he stressed.

55% of Poles Have a Negative Attitude to Islam

Almost 55 percent of all Poles have a negative attitude to Islam, 30 percent more than four years ago according to a survey by the marketing research company TNS Obop. This Islamophobia is difficult to explain and above all harms Poland's reputation abroad, writes political scientist Klaus Bachmann in the liberal daily Gazeta Wyborcza: "And this in a country that didn't have a single conflict with Islam in the last century, and where Muslims were even a much-appreciated religious minority. They were eligible for being raised to the peerage, and in general Muslim immigration was only minimal. It's hard to explain where the Poles' aversion to Islam comes from. ... We are the ones who stand to lose the most from such an attitude. Polish Islamophobia will be a major obstacle to taking advantage of the trust that Poland enjoys in North Africa, where our country is seen as a successful example of democratisation."
