A Muslim defence association in France has launched a legal attack on the satirical weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo in Strasbourg for "blasphemy", the magazine's lawyer, Richard Malka, declared on Friday.

Made public several weeks ago, this summons to appear in front of Strasbourg Criminal Court was only received this week by the magazine. "Blasphemy" is not a crime in France except in the Alsace-Moselle region, on the border with Germany. Like another action, initiated recently in Paris for Incitement to Racial Hatred, these charges are based on Charlie Hebdo's front page on 10 July last, whose title was: "The Koran is crap, it doesn't stop bullets".

...Article 166 of the Alsace-Moselle penal code punishes this crime with a penalty of up to three years of imprisonment.

The koran is blasphemous, denying the deity and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Mo was a false prophet and blasphemer.

This is my region. In theory, logically, the claim will be rejected, because Islam is not “concordataire”. (It would be long to explain what it means and why.)
But I suppose you know that EVERYTHING is possible with the “French” “justice”.

In fact, our story and the law have already been raped, when some municipalities (Woippy, Strasbourg) have subsidized mosques' building.
The rights of the concordat's signatories (Catholics, Protestants and Jews) were extended to the invaders.

The interesting and comic part of this new incident is that Muslims enter in open conflict with secular leftists (who traditionally defended them).

Like France, Britain is also a EU country and they have already imprisoned a man for committing blasphemy against holocaustianity. Simon Sheppard was jailed for distributing a comic called TALES OF THE HOLOHOAX which mocked outrageous claims about WW2
