At the Interior Minister conference in Osnabrück, the president of the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) [Federal Criminal Police Office], Jörg Ziercke, has warned of the organised criminal activity of Eurasian-russian gangs in Germany.

According to the "Welt"'s information, in his internal report on the security situation to the conference participants, Ziercke mentioned a figure of between 40,000 to 50,000 Eurasian-Russian criminals resident in the country.

It said there were now individual perpetrators and small brigades who had now divided the Federal Republic up into action areas.
