Democracy-suppression in full swing.
Greek police have arrested the leader of the far-right Golden Dawn party on charges of founding a criminal organisation.

Dozens more arrest warrants have been issued for more party members and MPs, police officials said on Saturday.

Police are investigating the party for links with the killing of an anti-fascist rapper by a self-proclaimed Golden Dawn supporter. The stabbing to death of Pavlos Fissas on 17 September sparked violent protests in Athens.

Police announced the arrests of party leader, Nikolaos Michaloliakos, spokesman Ilias Kassidiaris and two MPs on charge of forming a criminal organisation. They also said they arrested a local Golden Dawn leader in an Athens suburb, nine other unnamed party members and had arrest warrants for a total of 35 party members.

Kassidiaris is infamous for hitting a woman live on television for which he escaped prosecution.

Golden Dawn – Greece's third most popular party, according to opinion polls – has denied any links to the rapper's killing and Michaloliakos has warned it may pull its 18 members of parliament from parliament if the crackdown does not stop.

Well, always look at the bright side. The EU-gang doing this is afraid, very afraid. And this is just another big desperate mistake on their part.
