The Police in Assen have had their reputation damaged because police officers did not interfere with (severe) nightlife disturbances when they were right next to them.

Last Sunday, after the closing time of the bars in the Brinkstraat in Assen, 22-year-old Erwin Visser, from Rolde, was subjected to an unprovoked beating by members of a group of about twenty boys of Moroccan origin. According to the father of the victim, Koos Visser, none of the policemen or (bar) security staff intervened to aid the victim.

This failure to act is not an isolated case, according to a 21-year-old woman from Assen. She reported to this newspaper last week that she and two friends were were harassed by a group of Moroccan boys at the same location the previous weekend: "I had reported it clearly to the police when all of the sudden I was thrown to the ground by six policemen and taken to the cell. In the police car, I admitted I had responded quite hysterically with insults. That earned me a fine for public intoxication and a ticket for insulting a police officer."

According to Koos Visser, the limit has been reached. If the police do nothing, he will take matters into his own hands to deal with the nuisance group, under the name Dutch Offensive. "And I already have many supporters who feel the same way."

Good on him. If the politicians and police refuse to help their own people, the people should have full right to take action to protect themselves and their country.

Not only do the People have a RIGHT to do so, they also have a MORAL DUTY to do so because laws are promulgated on moral principles and, if therefore the law is not upheld, neither is the moral system behind it and it is the duty of the People, who have vested their trust AND their power in officials, to require the officials to uphold the public order and its laws and if the officials fail to do so, then the People must reassert the moral principles. In a correctly functioning country, this would be done by means of elections and public protests but, if that is ignored, then the People must take back the trust and the authority and reinvest it in themselves.

The original article was published on 2nd September in a very political-correct way. No trace on the identity of the offenders. See: http://www.dvhn.nl/nieuws/drenthe/article10423143.ece/Politie-Assen-onder-vuur-na-uitgaansgeweld
The politic-correct attitude did not help much, as for SPITS, had changed the title to
http://www.spitsnieuws.nl/archives/binnenland/2013/09/politie-faalt-bij-marokkaans-geweld
I have found the article on the link: http://ejbron.wordpress.com/2013/09/02/politie-faalt-bij-marokkaans-geweld/
Finely had Geenstijl.nl give it’s opinion on the subject. See link: http://www.geenstijl.nl/mt/archieven/2013/09/vader_wil_strafvermindering_vo.html

Does that not prove that you decadent infidels are already bowing to our rule. We have almost taken over your country. We will attack you outside your evil ,immoral bars, and your police will not come to your aid. God is Great, and soon we will impose our laws upon you. You are already a helpless and weak nation! We will prevail, and there is nothing you can do about it!
