CHRISTIANITY PROHIBITS ALCOHOL:

[Proverbs 20:1]
“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging; and whosoever is DECEIVED thereby is not wise.”
[Ephesians 5:18]
“And be not DRUNK with wine.”
Jesus never made permissible the consumption of wine, pigs, it was a Pauline innovation by the Gospel writers.Jesus never broke any Abrahimic laws what was forbidden.

HINDUISM PROHIBITS ALCOHOL:

[Manu Smriti 9:235]
“A priest-killer, a LIQUOR DRINKER, a thief and a violator of his guru’s marriage bed – all of these, and each separately, should be known as men who committed MAJOR CRIME.”

ISLAM PROHIBITS ALCOHOL:

[Qur'an 5:90]
“O you who have believed, indeed, INTOXICANTS (Khamr), gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the WORK of SATAN, so avoid it that you may be successful.”

TORAH PROHIBITS ALCOHOL:

(Prov 20:1 KJV)
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
The Torah extols the virtue, courage, and holiness of the Nazirite who vows to abstain from wine.

SIKHISM PROHIBITS ALCOHOL:

The Guru Nanak Sahib says:

ਸ੝ਰਸਰੀ ਸਲਲ ਕ੝ਰਿਤ ਬਾਰ੝ਨੀ ਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਕਰਤ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਨੰ ॥
Sursarī salal kiraṯ bĝrunī re sanṯ jan karaṯ nahī pĝnaʼn.
Even if wine is made from the water of the Ganges, O Saints, do not drink it. (Gange is sacred river in Hinduism).

BUDDHISM PROHIBITS ALCOHOL:

The Buddha says: ‘There are these six dangers of drinking alcohol: loss of wealth, increase of quarrels, ill-health, a bad reputation, making a fool of oneself and impaired intelligence’. (D.III,182). In the Dhammapada the Buddha warns, ‘The person who drinks alcohol digs up his own root in this world’ (Dhp.247).

On the practical side, we are forbidden to pray while drunk and priests were not allowed to serve in the Holy Temple whilst drunk. Even today, priests(HINDU,MUSLIM,CHRISTIAN,SIKH,JEWS etc)may not bless the congregation after having even a single glass of wine.
