Yesterday, in Munich, a 31-year-old Syrian, Abdullatif al-M, climbed up a crane in the early morning (before 7 am) and threatened to kill himself unless he and his 8-member family (the rest of whom are currently in Egypt) were granted asylum. 50 police and 30 firemen were deployed to deal with this. When they tried to approach him, he cut himself with razors. Streets were blocked off for the entire day before the crane cabin was eventually stormed at midnight and he was apprehended.

"50 police and 30 firemen were deployed to deal with this"...

What a ridiculous waste of taxpayers' money...

This situation could've easily and cheaply be remedied with one sniper and two people from the medical examiner's office...

Have the powers-that-be surrendered to his blackmail and granted asylum to him and his 8-member family?

He should be sent back to Syria or Egypt. Now. Not the type of immigrant Germany needs. Europe is over-run with his type.
