The government of the French-speaking part of Belgium has just renamed all the Christian school holidays.
A new decree henceforth establishes a series of regulations to determine school holidays. Also, in this decree, the holidays of Toussaint [All Saints], Noël [Christmas], Carnaval [Carnival] and Pâques [Easter] are renamed Autumn, Winter, Break and Spring holidays.

Much like Christmas, Easter is a pagan festival kidnapped by christians and I don't think Carnaval is a christian festival.

Carnaval is a sort of party time before Lent, although its origins may be pre-Christian.

Are they renaming any Muslim holidays?

And the days of the week are to be renamed one two and so on to avoid the use of Roman gods.

The point is that the West's long affiliation with Christianity is dissolving. Islam will fill this void. Let Belgium reap the full benefit of this for rejecting the ways of their fathers.

Headscarfs, burkas, halal food and sharia law in and anything Christian out. What does this look like to you? Make way for Islam because anything else is offensive. It we cannot name the Christian Holidays then why have them at all. Why ban only the words, let's ban the whole thing and get on with Islam!
