The choice of Jorge Mario Bergoglio as Pope strikes me as likely to be a bad thing. Why? First, he's from Latin America. There's very little Muslim presence in Latin America compared to most other parts of the world, so he's likely to have no experience of the problems that Mohammedanism creates wherever it spreads. The global jihad the Ummah is waging on the rest of humanity is the greatest problem Christendom faces. Here we have a Pope unequipped to deal with it.

Conversely, it's possible that because, in part, of the lack of Mohammedanism there, the culture of political correctness is not as deeply entrenched in Argentina, and therefore he will be able to bring a fresh eye to the Islamic threat, free of the usual inhibitions.

As the son of two immigrants living in a colonist society, Francis I is also likely to be more sympathetic to immigrants/colonists/invaders than he is to the rooted peoples of the earth.
According to the prophecies of St. Malachy, this will be the last Pope. Here is what the final prophecy says:
In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people.

I'm inclined to agree with you, CZ, especially after learning from reports in the British press that this latest Pope was totally supportive of the Argentinian Invasion of the Falklands (whose people voted only a few days ago, 1,513 to 4, to remain under British control as these Islands have been for centuries). So, Francis is a man who will support those seeking to usurp national sovereignty (had the Argentinians been successful, the native Falkland Islanders would have been deprived of their liberties; as it is, several of them died along with hundreds of British soldiers who defended the people and the Islands).

As to Moslem presence in Latin and South America, this is growing, starting first with Moslems using L & S America as gateways to Mexico where, with the assistance of Mexican drug cartels, they are helped over the border into the US (US Border patrols have reported for years on increasing numbers of Moslem aliens among those captured and they come from all over the Middle East, travelling first into Europe). Also, given the history of 'Liberation Theology' in L & S America, that would be a foundational block on which Moslems would build, and I've read of strong efforts in Mexico to convert Mexicans (again, locking into Mexican animosity and perceived phony grievance mentality against Americans). And 'liberation theology' became Black Liberation Theology which was the foundational system adopted by the Trinity United Church of Christ to which Obama belonged for 20 years, with its emphasis on 'blackness' and a 'god' who would destroy the white race. Lying media was careful to keep that unreported when Obama was running for his first term. This, too, given the numbers of blacks in L & S America, may mean Francis will be more sympathetic to them over the Caucasian race because he'll continue, falsely, to see blacks as 'disadvantaged poor.'

That he is not a European, and elderly with one lung and arthritis, and that he was seemingly a compromise selection for the role, I do not think augurs well for Roman Catholics or for Europe. That said, leave a little space for the part of Providence in all this and we still have, thankfully, the Eastern Orthodox Church which certainly does know about Islam, and also of the moral devastation of a church being infiltrated by its enemies. "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there is the Church." And since He tells us we are ourselves the temple of the living God, it is up to each individual to be, himself, a church.

I was thinking the same Cheradenine, people from Latin America or South America or places like that don't understand much about Islam or Jihad. The new pope seems nice person and very intelligent man but I think he will be liberal towards religion of peace because of his personal experiences. I just understand this because of my Latino lefty friends who think Islam is great and all faiths teach the same.

Big on "social justice" and "caring for the poor" sounds pretty left to me. The Argentines obsession with the "Malvinas" is pathological, and their recent cocksuckery with the Iranians re the synagogue bombing in Buenos Aires is revolting.

Argentina also had this Carlos Menem for president; a Muslim under false flag who built the largest mosque in South America and brought heaps of Muslims out.

So yes, Argentina is an economic disaster because of socialism, and now they are giving us a pope who wants more of it.

No thank you.

If the Pope was a British then would he voted for Nick Clegg?

Do not worry, He will start from a fresh point of view to allow him to realize the cruelity of Islam and the disgusting examples or methods Mohhamad set in the Quran

Unfortunately, the situation in Central and South America is changing, as thousands of Muslims are now flooding into the countries all over the place.

What else is new. The whole world is under jihad assault.

The Catholic church is controlled by the jews, only someone like Bishop Williamson who accuses the jews of deicide has the requisite qualities to lead the Church - the current Church is useless, not only is it useless but its actually a part of the problem.

Judge them by their fruits- who defends the Church and the West? Who seeks to bring about the destruction of the Church and the West? And by logical extension who defends whites and who is it that is working for the white tribes disappearance? Its easy to identify those who belong to each group. Identify these people so that you know who is with us and who is against us.

I'm argentinian and the story about people want the falkland back is just an invention of the Jew controlled goverment we got. Most people dont give a fuck about the island, and think they belong to english people. What the goverment say, is not what the people think.
