In the first video, what was the purpose of the people pouring into the streets? Were they preparing to pray in the streets, or were they just excited about the festival and wanting to run around a bit?

In Greece there were virtually no Muslims until the late 90's (with the exception of a local Muslim minority in Thrace). In the 00's, The Socialists removed fortifications and land mines from the Greek-Turkish borders, started programs of mass legalisation of existing illegal immigrants (which tempted more third worlders to try to come to Greece), and George papandreou signed Dublin 2 (every illegal immigrant arrested in Northern Europe will be sent to Greece). Why? Maybe the local capitalists and the socialists/conservatives wanted cheap labor. So, in 2012 Greece has 2,000,000 Muslims (mainly pakis, Bangladeshis, north Africans, afghans, Arabs ). Athens is a shithole and a dangerous Islamic ghetto. Crime rates have risen dramatically in a city that used to be one of the safest cities in the world. The economy has collapsed and 1.500.000 Greeks are unemployed. Highly educated Greeks leave the country. Employers discriminate against unskilled Greeks (and the relatively expensive Albanian workers) and prefer Muslim cheap labor. More Muslims are ready to enter as the Syrian internal conflict worsens. EU doesn't care about all these. So Golden dawn is at 20% now.
