This is a good example of the insidious process of self-degradation that the Muslim presence inevitably triggers in any civilised country.

On this occasion it is the the famous Hotel Danieli in Venice that has demeaned itself. In the past, it has played host to such luminaries as Wagner, Alfred de Musset, George Sand and Goethe. More recently, its standards seem to have fallen.

A Muslim porter, of Egyptian origin, told his bosses that he wasn't going to take orders from a woman. The management initially invited him to respect Italian norms. But when he refused, and handed in his resignation, the management decided to appease his sensibilities "as he was well regarded by clients and other employees".

We therefore decided to guarantee that during his work hours, his boss would have a male colleague at her side who would act as a liaison with the Egyptian to communicate the tasks to be performed.

They must be totally insane. Not that I would employ a koranimal in the 1st place, I would have gleefully accepted his resignation, and replaced him with an Italian.

Installing sharia in Italy. Creeping sharia. So, then the European guests will go elsewhere, and they will be left with the Gulf states guests?

We should all email this hotel and inform them that, although we were once considering staying there due to its history and prestige, we are cancelling our stay and have no intention of ever staying at a place that encourages misogyny.

Ridiculous. They should have accepted his resignation. Better - fire him!!

I can only hope that those that work there, once they learn what he did, shun him.

better fire him, sharia law implementing step by step in many places of europe. Its time to wipe out all the f**king muslims from europe

One more broken window in the edifice of Western civilization.

As an employee of the hotel I presume he's happy enough to take orders from female guests? If so, this is clear hypocrisy and the management should have fired him. Get another porter. In these difficult economic times I'm sure they'd have no difficulty replacing him.

Its called APPEASEMENT!!

And the silence from the feminists, who should be outraged at this sort of thing, is deafening...

It was first appeasing Hitler and now this Muslim shit.

Dumb Italians losing all the marbles!

That's right, where are the feminists? They're normally so shrill over any instance of sexual equality, real or imagined. When it comes to Islam, with its codified sexism, misogyny, and fostering of the greatest European rape epidemic since WWII, you're hard pressed to get a peep out of them.

Islam is the most powerful retrograde force in Europe today. Yet "progressives" have not only given it full dispensation for its abuses, they actually work actively to advance its cause.

Well , it is actually a biblical principle that men have a pre-eminent position in relation to women, and that man was made first, and that woman was made for man,not man for woman, and the it was the woman who was decieved and became the transgressor, - which lead to the fall.
However of course, Mohammadan demagoguery, should never be accomodated because we all know, or should know, that there is no good thing in the flesh, and any hint of anything true that these carnal fellows espouse, is bastardised to serve allah/satan's own ends.

a biblical principle that ... man was made first ...
exactly, men were the prototype and women the improved version.

Feminists are not silent, we are furious!

Popular with clients or not - once employees start to dictate their will and woes to the employer - it's time for - YOUR FIRED !!
Secondly - Women should NEVER be in charge of males on the job - Period!! (not theirs)

This is shamefull of a weak management, an insult to the female manager; if the Muslim man does not wish to take orders from a female boss, he should reaign, but since he is feeling entitled, then offer a different job with a male boss and if/when he refuses, feel free to fire him. He can work for a Muslim owned business.

I love hotels, and I love beautiful hotel gardens and environments, especially those that reference the wonderful hotels and gardens of Provence and the Italian countryside: the fountains, the citrus trees in terra cotta planters, and the casual formality of the environments. I am always looking for ways to bring a bit of that magic into my own garden. Well, I recently found an incredible store and online presence: Authentic Provence (http://authenticprovence.com) in West Palm Beach. The finest collection of European garden antiques I have seen in the US: statues, fountains, planters (note especially the classic Caisse de Versailles in every color, and Anduze pottery), terra cotta shields, stone animals, copper pots, garden spouts, etc. They also have beautiful stone fireplaces, re-purposed tiles, and many other specialty items. I felt transported to a unique environment reminiscent of the wonderful hotels and gardens of Europe.
