Islam versus Europe: Swiss Proposal to Build New Villages Exclusively for Asylum Seekers

The Christian Democratic Party has tabled a motion to introduce specially built villages for asylum-seekers.

The idea is to build three “villages” in Canton Aargau in eastern Switzerland in order to house some 500 asylum-seekers.

“In addition to beds, a cafeteria, a sports complex and training opportunities should be available in the villages," Christian Democratic Party councillor, Alexandra Abbt, told online news website 20 Minutes.

The proposals include the introduction of a bonus system, where bonus points would be awarded to migrants who behave well and cooperate with the authorities.

“This reduces the motivation of asylum seekers to move outside the village and the potential for conflict with the population,” Abbot said.

But the far-right Swiss People’s Party thinks that such a system would create the wrong incentives for would-be asylum seekers, as it could make asylum in Switzerland even more attractive.

Others consider the plans for the villages to be similar to a kind of apartheid.

“It is an absurd idea to lock asylum-seekers away into ghettos and entirely deny them ways to integrate,” Beat Meiner, secretary general of the Swiss Refugee Council, told 20 Minutes.

No sites for the proposed villages have yet been identified and it is unclear whether the plans would utilise existing building structures.

The Aargau Cantonal government has three months to consider the proposals, although preliminary indications suggest it is interested in the idea, 20 Minutes reported.

This has the makings of a good idea. But how about, instead of building the villages in Switzerland or anywhere else in Europe, we build them in Africa instead? In fact, how about, instead of us building them, we give the "asylum seekers" some planks of wood and shaped stones, together with a basic construction manual, so they can build them themselves? Actually, rather than supply the planks of wood and shaped stones, why don't we just show the "asylum seekers" where the nearest forest and stone quarry is and provide them with axes and mine picks?

If the local government is not enlightened enough to appreciate the moral genius of this proposal, perhaps we should simply invade, appropriate the land militarily and run the government on more just principles? We could then introduce various programmes to help the unfortunate indigenes realise their full potential. Of course, if the country has any significant mineral wealth, it would be reasonable for us to extract some of it as appropriate compensation for all the hard work we were doing.

If it goes well, we could even extend this philanthropic project to other parts of the undeveloped world. Perhaps all the countries within European civilisation could take on a kind of custodial role in which we shepherded these unfortunate savages towards greater civilisational maturity? This is a great idea. We just need a name for it. What could it be?

Exactly. What this would mean is that asylum seekers (majority bogus), will not only get accommodation and expenses, but a ready made community with mosques etc.

Unplanned Balkanisation is one thing, but to actually facilitate it, leading to the destruction of Switzerland just to show how liberal Swiss politicians are, is stupid beyond words.

Thankfully, such proposals have to go through a referendum. Hopefully, the Swiss reject it.; 8 March 2012 17:57
