An Arab Business Conference was held in Doha, Qatar this week. Although it was generally ignored in the western press, there were a few snippets of information about it here and there.

One interesting aspect of the conference was the call for racial discrimination against non-Arabs in employment.

The conference called on Arab governments to strengthen their economic cooperation, grant good conditions to businessmen and replace foreign employees with Arabs.

Imagine the international outcry is there were calls in Europe to sack non-Europeans and replace them with Europeans. But if you're an Arab, such discrimination is OK it seems.
