2012 looks like being the year when the Muslims make a major effort to shut down freedom of speech, because they know that Islam cannot survive the light of truth.
So we need to analyze our vulnerabilities.
Counterjihadist bloggers need to consider spreading the risk and avoiding presenting single concentrated targets for the enemy. Blogs need to be mirrored and duplicated and spread out around multiple platforms.
Counterjihadists should not merely comment on counterjihadist blogs, but should also disperse counterjihadist comments throughout the blogosphere (general political/religious/community blogs etc) wherever they can be slipped in.

The only dialogue Islam is interested in, is where you concede and compromise, and Islam concedes and compromises nothing.
Now that doesn't mean that there should be no well mannered dialogue. But the dialogue must run along the lines that we demand as much and more, and concede nothing. And what we concede is hedged with caviats, and can be broken at anytime of our convenience.
You are right. Not all must engage in a verbal catchall.
There are many facets to this war - one, yours is the most graceful and well mannered. But in past defensive wars that Europe had to engage in with Islam, there were other quivers in the arsenal apart from the polite verbal engagement. These are just as essential, as the strong arm of the police is essential to maintain law and order on the streets.
