Alerta Digital has published an interview with Félix Herrero, former president of FEERI (Spanish Federation of Islamic Religious Organisations), an indigenous Spaniard who converted to Islam. Perhaps because of his non-alien background, his thoughts on some subjects - like immigration - are a bit different from those of a conventional Muslim. The most interesting thing he had to say, though, was about Moroccans with Spanish nationality.
Interviewer: Is it definite that there are politicians and generals in Morocco who have Spanish nationality?

Herrero: Yes, I personally know of a member of the Moroccan parliament, and I've been told there are various others. And even generals of the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco.

Interviewer: Does Morocco control some Spanish mosques?

Herrero: More than is apparent.
