This video shows a brutal attack on a 23-year-old Bulgarian who worked as a trainee at the European Parliament in Brussels. He is attacked by a group of "jeunes" of non-European origin. The attack occurred on 31 December last year.

The Bulgarian survived the attack but suffered three broken vertebrae and partial loss of his hearing and vision.

As a result of the surveillance footage, a 17-year-old was arrested. He has now been released. The youth court tribunal declared that the images were of poor quality and did not allow the suspect to be identified definitively.
