Johnny Rottenborough said...: I can but I’m nowhere near fluent. I picked up some Arabic when I lived in Saudi Arabia and I’ve been dabbling in it ever since. They’ll have taken the shahadah on the poster from the Saudi flag; the calligraphy looks pretty much the same.; 7 April 2011 00:09

Johnny Rottenborough said...: I don’t think learning Arabic would help your counterjihad work, nor would it be of much use in knowing the enemy. A book I’m reading at the moment, Wafa Sultan’s A God Who Hates, tells far more about the Muslim mindset than a study of Arabic ever could. Reading her account of life in Syria brings home the appalling treatment of Muslim women.; 7 April 2011 00:48
