Shop-owners in Ventimiglia, which is close to the Italian border with France, have launched a petition to close down the "refugee centre" in the city. They claim that business has fallen by 30% since the North African savages started arriving. French tourists are no longer interested in going there, it seems.

Meanwhile, in Paris, police have started to round up the hundreds of mostly Tunisian savages now living on the streets. The mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë, who himself was born in Tunisia, has pronounced himself "shocked" by this action. He had previously announced a generous programme of assistance for the savages, which would have included hotel accommodation. The arrests started only hours later, so it may have been the bizarre, utopian extremism of his statement that forced the government's hand.
